Void Stage

Then they returned back to their house and I was sitting under the sky. They also asked me to join them, but I thought it's better not to bother them and I stayed back refusing them. "Should I go to my room? Or should I go to explore the upper realms.", but finally I decided to take a chance. I went flying up and up. I saw many small stars from up close. The upper world looked even brighter. I rose up, up miles and miles. Nothing other than that. Went up and up and at some random places some planets were there. Even went up and up but all empty spaces. Only one thing I enjoyed was the top view of the stars. As I was unable to find any endpoint I decided to return back. It felt like I almost traveled double the distance since I started degrading. Sadly I was lost.

"Oh no. What am I supposed to do now? Should I wait for my attendant to rescue me tomorrow? Wait, what if they will punish me!", and after some brainstorming I remembered my direction telling instrument. I summoned it and asked for directions to visit my room. It really started showing me a direction, and I followed it. After following it for many hours I finally started seeing heaven. Finally I reached heaven.

"Should I search for the girl and ask her for some more details? But she refused me to meet her again. What should I do now? Let's see, there is no way to turn back now."

I started searching for the temple. I sat inside the temple and continued waiting for her there. It was almost morning, but nobody came, so I decided to move back to my room. The attendant came to my room after I had already arrived.

He seemed angry and asked, "Where were you last night?"

I was really scared because of his sudden question, still I said with a poker face, "Nothing special, roaming here and there as I was not feeling good."

He asked me to summon all my belongings. He also summoned a box and put all mine and his instruments in that box and unsummoned it.

He: "I will be straight. Why have you been to the upper layers?"

I: "As for your questioning style it feels as if I was doing something wrong yesterday. But let me tell you, I went to the upper layers out of curiosity. But how do you know about it?"

He: "Forget that. Didn't I refuse you to go out of heaven? It could have been risky out there. A war is going on currently and I came to inform you yesterday, but you were not at all in this place. I waited for a long time yesterday in the lobby and again came early today but even then you weren't here. I am noticing something strange with you, since I met you at that temple. What's wrong? You know, you can tell me anything."

I started giving him a few excuses. But he started getting annoyed and said, "Have you met anyone in that temple that day? Don't dare to lie to me." His gaze was really scary.

I got afraid and accepted it and said, "Well, you see... The only thing I know about her is, she was a young girl with a strong aura around her and she was praying that day. By coincidence I found her."

He: "She is the princess of our lord of heaven. What did she tell you?"

I: "She did not tell me much. We just had a casual discussion. Why?"

He: "Don't try to meet her again else you will be in trouble."

I: "Why would I try to meet her again?"

He: "How shall I know? She might have informed you regarding the upper layers, otherwise why would you go there suddenly?"

I: "I said you already, I went up as, I was just curious. And why are you asking me as if I have committed some crime?"

He: "Don't lie to me. I know you are a good person. I am just worried for you. I could have let the royal guards catch you and they could have investigated your intentions. You were lucky as most of the soldiers were sent to the war. Since the day I saw you, I knew something was different about you. You fly like us, you can control the room without any prior instructions based on your freewill. Just tell me the truth. I will try to help you if your intentions are good."
