I used my abdomen as an excuse not to cook the rest of the week for Arman
I can say I've successfully avoided him after our last encounter
Currently I was getting dressed, Romeo was picking me up in the next hour to the race, this week has been so boring.
Because you didn't see him, I hate my mind for this one.
The race feels like a perfect occasion to break the boredom, plus he's racing today and I'll like to see him behind those wheels
Like always, when I get to the parking lot, he comes out to open my side of the door
"You're such a gentleman" he places his hand on his chest, "my mom taught me well"
"She sure did"
The race looked wilder than the the last time I came, "is it just me or this place seems more packed than the last time"
"It's packed today. Today is special"
"Special huh"
"Yeah, today, all the top racers are competing, and it means more people are here to watch the thrilling scene"
"Wow, I really cannot wait" he shook his head smiling.
Getting out of the car, I could feel the change in the atmosphere, goosebumps littered all over my arms immediately. I had a feeling something weird was going to happen, I pushed the thoughts to the back of my head, I have to enjoy the moment and stop these weird thoughts
"I'm sorry about the last time" Romeo took my hands in his, my memories took me back to the last time I came here, but all the memories that flogged my mind were my time at Arman's place.
"C'mon, I know you didn't intentionally leave me here" I assured him, "that is why I'm not going to repeat the same mistake today, I'm going to leave you with a very trusted friend of mine"
"Yes sir" the playfulness in my voice eased the tension in the air, as we took a step in the direction of where all the others were gathered, I looked around frantically.
Looking for him, I hate moments like these were my mind decides to ask questions on it's own.
I'm definitely not looking for him, I'm just looking around

We approach a group of illegal racers, their eyes gleaming with a dangerous intensity. The atmosphere is suddenly tense, and I can feel the adrenaline in the air as Romeo walks towards them.
We finally stop before them, I'm guessing they're his friends. The typical bad boys type, with tattoos all over their arms and visible scars. They looked quite intimidating and extremely hot
Not as hot as him, I rolled my eyes at the comment
Romeo approached them and gave each of them a handshake as they exchanged a few words.
He edged me forward to one of the guys, "Jessica, meet Red"
I extended my hands, "It's a pleasure to finally meet you, this dude here won't stop talking about you"
Romeo hit the back of his head to stop the next words from pouring out, I giggled a little as I watched their exchange
"I hope they are good things"
"You'll be surprised by the things he says" he smirked in the direction of Romeo
"Fuck you"
"C'mon man, you can't cuss in-front of pretty girls" I felt my cheeks reddened even though I couldn't see it
"Could you please keep an eye on her for me, I'm racing soon"
"You don't need to ask twice, looking out for hot chicks is my specialty"
"Do not be flirty with my girl red" he glared at him, Red put his hand up in the air in surrender, "relax man"
"Princess, I would be quick about this okay. Don't mind this flirty bastard"
I just nodded and smiled, "be good"
