He looked right at me, brought his hands to drag my head closer and kissed my forehead.
My cheeks are going to be red all evening

"Make sure you win"
"Yes ma'am"

He jogged towards a sleek, aerodynamic sport car, painted in a vibrant red color, with racing stripes that scream speed. As he entered, he winked at me, as soon as he started the car, you could hear a powerful engine that roars like a lion.

Just like the last time, all the cars move to the start line
I see Romeo's car in the middle, his eyes on me through his windows, I smile shyly at him. My eyes moves in search of a certain someone.
I recognize his car from the last time, even though his windows were rolled all the way up, I had a feeling he was watching me, glaring at me even. He's warned me about coming here. I get that this place is dangerous, but I don't think I'll be in any danger, besides I've got Romeo and his friend around
And you've got him too, shut upppp.

I didn't notice when the race was flagged to start because I was so engrossed in my thoughts.
My eyes were on only two cars, Romeo was leading, and Arman was close behind.

They were quite ahead of the others, it felt like they were the only ones in this race. I felt a chill with the way their engines kept roaring like thunder, they are locked in a fierce battle on the track. The intense competition has everyone on edge, every eye was on them, the whole park was quiet, the roar of their engine the only source of noise, each of us praying quietly in our heads, I didn't know who to root for. It felt like I will be cheating on them if I choose sides, with each racer pushing their limits to outmaneuver the other. The crowd can't look away, I can't look away, I could feel the adrenaline rush as the cars speed past, inches apart. It's a thrilling experience, each of them not ready to back down.

Suddenly, Arman's car rams into Romeo's, I could hear gasps from the audience. Romeo changes the direction of the car and speeds to the left, completely off the track. Arman follows behind him

Romeo's car comes to a halt and he exits, charging towards Arman, who was now out of his car and walking towards Romeo with the same energy

"This is going to turn out badly" a sigh escapes Red
"Do they know each other" I had to ask, because Arman didn't look like he knew Romeo the last time we spoke

"Sworn enemies"
From a distance I could see them face each other, though they were not audible, you could clearly see that they were screaming at each other. The other racers had started parking around them.

Before the first person could get to them, Arman had thrown a punch, hitting Romeo's jaw hard. He staggered, even from where I stood, I could see the anger rush to his face. He threw a punch at Arman too, but his reflexes were faster because it was expected, so he dodged.

Their eyes locks in a fierce gaze, each determined not to back down. The air crackles with tension as they exchange blows, their movements swift and calculated. Every punch thrown is filled with years of rivalry and animosity, I could feel it even though I've not been told.
"I have to get there before they kill each other" Red announces and starts running towards his car, I ran after him
"Wait", he stops to look at me, "take me with you" he shakes his head in disapproval of what I'm suggesting
"It's too dangerous" he warns, I'll make sure I don't get into danger.

He stands to think a little before ushering me to get into the car.

We reached there within seconds, I was out of the car before he could even park.
I shoved the pile of people aside as i maneuvered to the front

By the time I got to where the scene unfolded, the fight had escalated as the tension reached its peak, they're locked in a dangerous dance of aggression and skill. Each strike is met with a fierce counterattack, their body covered in scratches and blood. The rivalry between them fuels the intensity of the battle, driving them to fight with all their might.

I shout for them to stop, but amidst their heated fight, they could barely hear me.

With a surge of confidence, I ran between them, my heart heavy with the weight of their conflict. As they both lock eyes with me, their emotions raw and intense, I raise my hands, trying to calm the storm raging within them, their breaths are loud. "Step aside" Arman roars, but I stand firm, shaking my head.
Romeo grabs my hand and then pulls me towards him. "Get your filthy hands off her" the threat in his voice is not missed. In that moment, I feel torn between two worlds, wanting to bring peace to their turmoil but knowing that my presence only adds to the complexity of the situation.

Arman grabs my hand and tugs me towards him, "let her go" Romeo holds on to me tightly, I stand there, caught in the middle of their tug-of-war. Their words are like arrows, each trying to sway me to their side. I feel a mix of emotions - torn between the familiarity of the past and the uncertainty of the future. As they vie for my attention, I realize that my decision will not only impact my own heart but also theirs.

"What is wrong with the two of you" I roughly release my hand from their hold. It's like they were back to their senses, as if a clock had tick in their minds, making them aware of what was happening. As if they had now realized the crowd around us. I felt my anxiety rise as my eyes land on the crowd.

Arman is the first to look away and starts walking to his car. Romeo looks between me and him, "are you coming" he asks in a very small voice.

I nod to his question and walk with him to his car.
As soon as we're in the safety confines of his car, he zooms off, in the opposite direction of Arman's

The silence in the car is deafening, I have so much to ask him, and he looks like he has so much to say too
