Lexie POV
The sweltering heat of Saudi Arabia hit us as soon as we got off the plane. My nerves skyrocketed, I'm dreading having to see Lance again, the way he smiles makes my blood boil. I swear to god that man better not come near me or I'm taking the next flight back.
'This is gonna be so FUN' mads screamed

Me: hey Max just got off the plain, where did you say the driver was?
Max: terminal one near exit 3, can't wait to see you sis it's been to long
Me: yeah yeah don't be sappy brother

I stretched my body as we made our way over to terminal one, everything was so stiff after that long flight it felt like heaven standing up again. I breathed in the hot air as I stepped a bit slower taking it all in, I'm not very sure on what to think of this weekend. Could be the best thing, the celebrities, fast cars, watching my brother race, I smile for a second as I think of what I could have missed until a cloud of guilt falls over me
Why haven't I been to a race?
Have I let max down?
Am I a shitty sister?
God I hope not.
I snap out of my thoughts when Maddie practically trips over her own feet at the speed she is going, I don't honestly know why she's so excited  for this it's not like it's her first race and it isn't one of the most famous ones so it gets me kind of concerned at why, is there something I don't know? 

We arrive at the terminal and spot the car making our way over, the chauffeur was very kind and polite, he opened the door for us as we slid into the sleek leather seated car that's I have a feeling my brother personally picked out. I watched the plane get rolled into A covered area of the airport as we slowly started moving, slowly because the traffic around this area was cray! I mean can you imagine having to try and fit 200,000 people into one race circuit all at once, it's pure chaos!!

Luckily sooner than later we arrived at the surface, I felt my heart rate increase as I inelegantly stumbled out of the tight parking space which had me confined in my seat. I immediately spotted max and a man I don't recognise stood a close 15 meters away signing hats and shirts, even peoples arms were being offered as a canvas. The booming noise through the speakers and of people having conversations filled my senses and possibly maddies too as she looked slightly terrified of the looks she was getting of the men walking past.

Max hadn't noticed me yet so I slowly tiptoed over to him before putting my arms around him, he physically jumped which made me laugh so much, the poor man thought he probably got assaulted by a fan or something, he visibly  eased when  he noticed  it was in fact me who had previously scared the shit out of him.
'OH MY GOD LEX!' He shouted before engulfing me in a bear hug which probably would have killed someone who wasn't used to it.
'Maxieee I missed you big bro!'
'Ahem... hello? Maxiel I'm here to you know' Maddie said irritated.
'Right, and who are you? Hahaha I know you are mads I'm just playing how are you!' Max said before side hugging Maddie.
'Fine, I am bored tho please can we go get something to eat or something? I swear this heat is literally sizzling the food out of me'
'Yes, quit complaining I was the one who payed for your flights.' Max frowned.
'Yeah as if that took a crazy toll in your bank balance, spare me Maxie.'

As we walked through the paddock I could feel my serotonin levels rising, I'd already been introduced to the man next to max who happened to be Alex Albon. Max suddenly stopped and turned to a few people.
'Hey mate, who's this?' A man with a chiselled beard said averting his eyes to me.
'This Pierre is my sister lexi, Lexie this is Pierre and stood next to him is checo and Fernando.'
'It's nice to meet you!' I greeted with a friendly smile.
'It's good to meet you too! How come I've never seen you around the paddock before Lexie?' Fernando questioned.
'Oh well...' before I got interrupted by Maddie saying
'Well I never let her go anywhere without me and I just haven't fancied it before now, hi by the way my name is Maddie gibbons.'
'Nice to meet you Maddie, I've seen your work you are a very impressive actress. I hope you enjoy today!' checo bumped in.
'Thank you!'
'Anyway as nice as it was to meet you we were gonna go on a track walk, unless you guys want to join?...' Pierre hastily explained
'Haha thank you for the invite but I think I'm good just meeting people and getting used to this insane atmosphere' I replied
'Ok, have fun bye guys!' They said
'Byeee!'
