Lexie POV:

Maddie sat down on the bed and dragged me with her. Her eyes softened as she relaxed, she has heard that me and max fought and because she is almost like a sister to us she feels very affected by it.
'So, are you going to tell me what you were arguing about?' She treaded carefully.
'Yes. I'm scared because I can't keep anything from you but I should probably keep this from you, I won't but I definitely should I don't know if this is going to change the way you think about me and I really don't want you constantly teasing me.' I rushed in about one breathe.
'Woah what the fuck? Are you like ok? First I think you need an inhaler and second babe you can tell me please that say what happened.' She giggled.
'Ok fine. I maybe might have maybe like danced and almost kissed Charles Leclerc.'
'Wait WHAT?'
'Yeah I know!! And it was like proper club dance.'
'NAHHH LEX THATS SO HOT. HES SO HOT' she had a huge smile plastered on her face and it soothed some of my previous nerves.
'Do you like you like him?' She said changing the tone.
'No, babe no don't be silly I've known him for what a day! Like yes he's hot but it's not like soulmates' I laughed

After a long plane ride back, it was time to go to work again and I was so excited. Being an actress is actually so fucking fun, like I can't explain it but it's the stunts mostly and watching it all fall together. We were working on starting the second half of the movie when I got a phone call from Lando

Incoming call : Lando norizz 🧡

I picked up and heard shuffling from the other side of the call before...
'Lexieeee, how are you' he said casually
'Erm hey Lando, yeah I'm good just working why did you call?' I replied confused
More shuffling
'So I was wondering. I know how you are super busy. And I know that it's not your favourite but I just got a girlfriend luisa and I really want you to meet her.' He shyly said.
I gasped. 'LANDO NORRIS. You have a girlfriend?! since when! Why didn't you tell me straight away! And when do I get to meet her!'
'I've had a girlfriend for a like a month or something...' pause 'and I was wondering if you would come to the Grand Prix with me, the next one and join in the McLaren garage'. 'And maybe you can see Charles again' he added
I went red.
'I would love to Lando! Thank you for inviting me, when is it though because I am really busy'
'It's next weekend.'
'Ok I can do it, see you then!!'
'Wait Lex before you leave, just a clue, Charles might have also asked me to invite you. He wants to see you again' he swiftly exclaimed.
'Wait what? Charles wants to see me again?'
'Of course he does he literally said you were breathe taking'. Pause 'oh shit I wasn't meant to say that, Lex forget I said that.'
I stopped breathing for a few moments and just stared at the wall. I knew that dancing was more than nothing but, I didn't think it meant anything to Charles I mean, it's Charles le-fucking-clerc.
We said our goodbyes and ended the call.

I got home at around 6pm, ready to make myself some nice food. I gathered my ingredients and added them to the pan before leaving it all to mix in and boil for a bit.

Before I could pour it in the strainer I heard a ring at my apartment doorbell. My heart raced slightly as I didn't have a single clue on who it could be and why they were here. I cautiously walled over to my door before slowly opening to be met with a smile on the other side.
'Charles?' I gasped.
'Hey Lexie. I know this is so random but I have nothing to do tonight and I was wondering if you wanted to come on a ride around Monaco.' He fiddled with his fingers and looked down at them.
'Yeah sure! I mean I'm surprised your here but I would love to'
His face lit up
'Oh that would be amazing!'
'Here Charlie you can come in just sit while I go get ready. It won't be a minute.' I rushed
'Charlie?' He repeated
'Oh shit sorry Charles I always give people nicknames when I get close to them and max is Maxie so it must have just slipped. I'm sorry'
'Don't apologise Lex. It's cute... you're cute'
I faintly smiled but felt like I was gonna pass out so I excused myself before getting changed ready on my surprise date around Monaco.
