Lexies pov

I sing as we roll around the hot concrete surrounded by palm trees, water so clear you can see to the bottom to the left and hundred thousand dollar cars to the right. The wind is blowing in my hair, the sun shining down on me, and music blasting from the car stereo. We drive down the iconic Ocean Drive, with its palm trees and stunning Art Deco architecture. Then, head over to Wynwood, known for its vibrant street art and trendy shops. And of course, we didn't forget to make a stop at South Beach for some fun in the sun! Miami has such a lively and energetic atmosphere that I can't help but chuck my arms up out the sun roof singing along to will smith with Maddie and Lily by my side who are doing something similar.

Miami in summer, the perfect place for an event as big as formula one. The place you can party till the next day, the heat of the night can take over your body, the cocktails creating an atmosphere of warmth and enjoyment. Miami was one of my favourite places to go, there is always something to do, always a walk you can go on. You can walk around in bikinis and short shorts, in fact everyone is doing the same thing, surrounded by people and beach, water, sun and of course palm trees lining all of the roads where people drive 2mph so everybody sees them. Ollie invited me to come and watch the formula two race, which I said yes to without hesitation. Maddie and Lily have to film for the first day but will join for the race Sunday.

"Omg. Lexie look to the right, is that Ophelia???" I raise an eyebrow and turn my head to find Ophelia, kissing some random man!. "What the fuck! Wait babe take a photo!" Just as she was about to Ophelia stopped gave the mystery man a hug and walked off. "Fuck I'm sorry babe I didn't get it" Lily said.
"Holy shit! Ophelia is cheating on Charles! We should tell him." I rushed. I
" I don't know if that's the best idea, I don't think you two are in the best place at the moment" Maddie warned.
I didn't answer just looked at the road and carries on to the location of the Grand Prix.

We arrived at the hotel and checked in like normal, then walked over to the Miami street circuit where we scanned out passes and entered the paddock. Today is the f2 race, I'm super excited to watch Ollie race. As I walked over the hot concrete, faster then usual because of the excitement I feel to see Ollie again, I get ushered towards the entrance. I breathed in deep as I took out my pass and scanned it entering the gorgeous paddock, Miami by far was my favourite race that I've been to so far. There were tropical trees lined perfectly with sand beneath them, used as a path lining to show visitors where to go. As I walked closer to the garages all of a sudden I could hear a bustle of people, there were some holding tires, machinery, microphones, all speed walking hoping they don't miss where they need to be. Ollie is a driver for Ferrari F2 so I made my way over to the sea of red, assuming he would be there; And to no surprise there he was! His eyes gleamed when he saw me, rushing over and engulfing my body in a bear hug. 'Lexie! I missed you so much! Thank you for coming!' He smiled.
I grinned and nodded 'I missed you too! And of course I'm here, I wouldn't miss you racing!' We got interrupted by an older man dressed in red, 'Ollie, your qualifying starts in 20 minutes you need to come and do some checks.' I frowned but patted Ollie on the back, 'go get em Ollie, you got this and remember I will be watching for the garage!' He took a breath and looked at me happily, 'thank you Lex, and I will see you after!' A strange feeling of loneliness took over me as he walked away, I didn't really know what to do with myself. So I just walked around for 10 minutes and went to grab a bite to eat, I walked to the bar and ordered myself a cocktail, and a bowl of cheesy fries. As it arrived I smelled the gorgeous scent of the fries and dipped one into a generous amount of sauce. The cocktail was gorgeous, it was like a sunset, yellow at the top and red at the bottom. It tasted like passion fruit and grenadine. I slowly ate and drank my order while I scrolled on my phone, liking posts that tagged max or me and texting my girls to update them. A booming voice came through the paddock speaker, scaring the shit out of me but also reminding me it was 5 minutes till the start of the race. I cursed myself. 'Shit shit shit, I'm gonna miss it.' I hushed out loud and quickly consumed my last few chips. 'Hey, do you know where you are going?' A man looked questioningly at me, 'erm I think so hahaha' I laughed nervously,
'Let me help you, you're heading to Ferrari right?' He smirked as he saw my red shirt,
'Yes I am, do you know how I get into the garage?'
'I do yes, just follow me!' He added, 'I'm Lorenzo by the way.' The name seemed familiar to me but I didn't know why...
'Oh hi I'm Lexie, it's nice to meet you!'
He smiled kindly, the sort of smile that came from a person you knew you could trust.
