A life beyond insanity (Kaiman x reader)

The mask only hides my mouth. My uniform was a mixture of a long skirt and blouse, all matching with En's clothes. The mask was having teeth from a devil, also smiling devilish as one. Chidaruma praised about it, that he had to "remove an old friend" for this design. En's tailor also bragged about the new clothes. The sorcerer in red nodded a few time, but apart from that, he seems to be bored. One thing we had in common just now, while I stood on a small platform, constantly asked to make a few turns to show off the new design. All that mattered to the man in red was only to things, "As long as her eyes and hair are shown, she won't be able to leave this place."

The devil chuckled, "What about if someone uses a disguise or magic to trick you?"

En's eyes darkened, "They will get tortured till death...in public."

Chidaruma wasn't scared by the glare, more excited, "Great, save the good seat for me. Don't forget what we discussed." Before the sorcerer answered, they moved their heads in my direction and then back to another, "We will be there." We? Why we? Did we plan something? With the devil gone, I was immediately back, in my position as personal servant, ordered to take notes on En's plans for the next day. According to him, since I came back, he has to catch up on a few things. I ruined his previous schedule and En hates it as much as people that aren't on time. Afterwards, I had to prepare his dinner and take care of Kikurage. If looks could kill, that cat thing would be dead by now. The creature however, couldn't stop jumping around in joy, "Nya...nya...nya...nya (Cuddle time, cuddle time, cuddle time!)" Showing me the brushes, En left me alone soon after. At this point, Kikurage tried to jump at me, while I dodge it. The last jump was thankfully the last one, as it didn't see the open window behind me. Once I heard the sound of it hitting the bushes, I clapped my hands together, "Done, so what's next?" The kitchen was on the ground floor, closing the door behind me. From outside, I heard the whining sound of the cat thing, "Nya?...(Help?)"

En used the time to visit his partner.

Nikaido was far from surprised to see him on the other side of the prison. She felt how the contract was appearing back in her ribcage, "Before you ask, I won't use my magic...for you for nobody!" The sorcerer in red assumed that she would say that, "It doesn't matter, as long as you are in here, no one will ever get their hands on your magic." Nikaido's hands were covered in metal gloves, making it unable for her to use smoke. That En would see Chota in this place was a surprise though. This man, who is obsessed with the sorcerer just wanted to chat with his female rival. In case Nikaido will be his partner again, Chota wanted to be prepared to make her life a living hell. En sighted, "If she is not cooperating, then I am afraid she remains in this prison till death knocks on her door." Out of fun, Chota kept banging on the metal door, "I am coming to get youuuu~" The sorcerer in red shook his head at that, "Knock it off!" The guy got only louder with his fists.

"I meant to stop it!"

Chota looked all innocent at the man in red, "You are no fun."

Unlike the bird man, En had enough of things to do. Before dinner, he got a lot of paperwork to do. Unfortunately, his magic cannot be used to sort it out, for this he had his servant.

In other words...me.

At the kitchen, I was wondering if there was nothing else in this place than mushrooms. It was everywhere. The servants there informed me about the menu from the sorcerer, that he only eats mushrooms. Even his dinner was a mushroom soup, with mushroom bread and a small mushroom pie. I sighted deeply, "In few months, we will be traumatized by mushrooms or even worse...paranoid." One of the servants nodded, "You telling me...one already puked because of the smell, the other collected the poison ones and almost got killed and a handful of us are having nightmares." They could consider themselves lucky, that they didn't see this one room full of the man in red that would really freak anyone out. With the tray in my hands, I got back to the sleep chamber, unaware that another servant just entered the kitchen. The one held a bucket in his hand and a toilet brush, "Those bloody toilets are clean!" Like it was over for him, oh no, Kaiman got new chores to deal with. Another member helped him out with the task, cleaning the corridors. For the lizard man was this agonizing, he just wanted to get Nikaido and leave. The only thing that made him do it in the first place, was that they will come across a lot of doors. If no one can tell him where she is, he will have to do it himself.

Inside the sleeping chambers, I was already expected by the sorcerer in red.

Apart from me and him, no one else was here. Curious, I checked next room, before he said, "There is no one here." But in his list are over ten people that serve him on a daily basis, from getting dressed, serving meals, guards and one personal servant for the rest. En pointed at his pajama, "You get me dressed." In my head I was screaming, "Do it yourself!" but all I said was, "...okay..." He raised his hands up and waited for me to start. It was embarrassing to help a grown up man into the PJ, my head was getting a deeper tone of red by the minute. En didn't seem to care, just waiting patiently for me to finish my chores with buttoning his shirt, "In the future, there will be no more servants in this room." Once he was in bed, his hand held out to me, "The papers." Since my eyes weren't hidden anymore, En could see my confused expression, "With no one else around, you have plenty of things to do for me and no time to think about leaving this world."
