Cronus x Reader {Secrets}

Chapter 1

After that, I headed to my homeroom - Ms. Megido. When I walked in the room with some required books in hand, I almost dropped them once I saw my teacher. She looked like the math teacher, for there were some math posters around the room.

She was grey! She also had horns that swirled! Why is everyone.... ugh! She had a black bun and a pretty cool green dress. She was also kinda tall.

"Hello," she said in a kinda formal voice. I waved and took a seat, setting my books on my desk. There were a good bit of regular people here, though. For example, the person who sat at the seat in front of me was a normal girl with round glasses and black hair. She waved at me, I waved back, simple as that.

More grey things filed in along with humans. The grey guy that I helped with his locker came in and saw that the seat right next to me was open. You see, there were around five or six 'tables' or 'groups' in the class... basically four or five or even six desks together. We're in eleventh grade, not sixth.

Anyway, he sat next to me. There were four desks in our group and there was only one left open. I sat there in silence, then looked over at the grey thing.

"So, if you don't mind me asking, why are some of you grey with horns?" I asked, trying not to sound rude. He looked surprised.

"Wwe're trolls," he said matter-of-factly. "Did ya just movve here or somethin'?"

"Actually, yeah," I admitted. "Enough of this, let's introduce ourselves. I'm _____ _____."

"Oh, yeah, um... I'm Eridan Ampora," he said, getting a little shy for some reason. "Nice name...."

His face tinted purple. Why purple?

"Oh, thanks," I said, smiling.

"I'm Jade Harley," the girl in front of me said. "Sorry to intrude on your conversation."

"No, it's fine," I assured. It looked like no one else was coming to class, but the seat next to Jade was still open. So was one at another table.

As if on cue, the last person finally showed up. It was another one of those trolls, and he looked surprisingly similar to Eridan. He had the same looking horns, hair, kinda, and fins. His hair was gelled or greased back, though, and he was simply wearing a white t-shirt. He also had gills on his neck.

He took the seat next to Jade, but Jade got up and went to the other open seat. She mouthed a "sorry" as she did so, then pointed to the troll that sat next to her.

The troll just moved to the seat in front of me instead. I heard Eridan grumble or something.

"Vwhat's cookin' good lookin'?" he asked as he looked at me. I gave him a puzzled look.

"Can ya just leavve her alone?" Eridan asked.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Cronus Ampora," he explained. I looked over at Eridan.

"Are you two brothers or something?" I asked. Eridan nodded. I looked back over to Cronus. The bell rang, and Ms. Megido took over.

"Hello, class. I am Ms. Megido, as you may have known, but formally known as the Handmaid," she explained. She went on about the class and her back story and all that.

The bell rang again, the announcments occured, then we were all sent off to first period.

I looked at my scheduled .which was already a little crumpled. I was going to History first with Ms. Maryam. After searching around the building, I found the room before the bell rang. I sat at a desk and waited for direction.

The teacher was a troll, but her horns were pretty standard and her skin was... white. She wore a black gown thing that had outlines of green. She was also tall.

"I am Ms. Maryam, also known as the Dolorosa," she began. "Since there are some... humans here that don't have background knowledge of trolls..." She looked at me. "...I thought I'd explain about them, just so no one is confused."

She went on about quadrents, buckets, blood colors and their ranks, the main characters of the history of trolls, and more and more. I soaked everything in like a sponge, and I was sure I knew everything. That took up most of the period, and I didn't even notice that Cronus was sitting to my left! Gosh, or Gog I should say.

"Hey," he whispered as I turned to page three in my textbook I was just assigned.

"What?" I whispered back, kind of annoyed.

"Wvhat's your status?" he asked. I raised an eyebrow. Status?

"What do you-"

"Okay, everyone, scan the page and write down anything you think is important," the teacher said. I got to work, pretending Cronus wasn't there.
