Cronus x Reader {Secrets}

Lunch time finally arrived. I sat with Eridan and... that was about it. I didn't see Cronus anywhere.

In second period art with Mr. Makara, Eridan told me how he is with girls and hits on every one of them he looks at.

I spotted Cronus just entering the cafeteria, and soon sitting at our table. I looked down a little bit.

"Hey, you!"

I perked up. Cronus turned around to a girl... a troll girl... with two different types of horns and a metal arm and glasses with one frame black with red dots.

She came to me and smiled.

"Would you like to sit with us?" She pointed to a table full of girl trolls.

"No one wwants to sit wwith you!" Eridan said.

"No one wants your opinion, Eridumb!" she quickly snapped back. "Come on, why would you want to sit with these useless Ampora's?"

"They're not useless!" I said. She went silent. I think the whole lunch room went silent.

"You're missing out, loser," she said before she left.

"That stupid Vvriska," Eridan muttered. I sighed.

"Thanks for stickin' up for us," Cronus said. I nodded, sipping on some water.

"Hey, um, wwould you like to hang after school..?" I looked at Eridan and smiled.

"Sure," I said. "Here, call me and tell me where you live."

I handed him my phone number, and Cronus rose his eyebrows and smirked.

"Looks like it's a double date," he said. I rolled my eyes and giggled.

"Whatever you say," I said, unpeeling a banana. Cronus was staring at me the whole time.

I narrowed my eyes as he smirked and put it down, trying to hide my giggles.

When I got home, everyone was at work and I had the whole house to myself. Now I know who to turn to and who to stay away from in the school.

I had no homework thankfully, so I crashed on the couch. I kinda layed there for a bit before my phone started to ring. I answered it.

"Hello?"

"Oh, hey," the person... or should I say troll on the other line said. It was Eridan.

"Oh, hi!" I said, recognizing his voice.

"You need the directions, or....?"

"Yeah, yeah, I'm ready."

He gave me his address and I quickly grabbed a drawstring bag and left the house. I also made a note to my parents in case I was gone for that long.

I finally made it to his home, which looked quite nice, and rang the doorbell.

Mr. Ampora opened the door. He was related to them?

"Oh, hey, ____," he said. "What brings ye here?"

"Oh, uh, I came to hang with Eridan," I said.

"That's surprising," he said kind of quietly. "One sec."

He called for Eridan, said a couple things to him, then walked out of the way for me to enter.

"Make yerself at home," he said as I walked in. I saw Eridan and waved to him.

"Come on," he said, leading me upstairs to his room. He showed me his wand.

"Cool," I said. "Do you know magic?"

"Magic isn't real," he said. I rose an eyebrow.

"Oh, okay," I said, smiling a little. I looked around. There was no bed... But there was a coon looking thing. Filled with green stuff.

"I'll be right back," he said, leaving the room. I looked around some more before hearing music blaring. I listened carefully, finally figuring out that it was coming from the room across the hall. I slowly opened the door to Eridan's room and tiptoed across the hall. I put my ear to the door where the music came from.

It sounded like a guitar.

I cracked it open a bit and saw Cronus on a stool, guitar in hand. I watched his every strum.

I sneezed, which was kinda loud, and got Cronus' attention. I opened the door casually with a nervous laugh.

"Hey there," he said, smirking.

"Sorry for barging in, I just heard some music and was curious about the source," I said, which was pretty true.

"You should be curious about the source," he said with his smirk still on his face. I rolled my eyes and sat at the edge of his... bed. He didn't have a coon? That is one thing I forget Ms. Maryam really talking about. I even forget the name of the coon thing. It might have started with an R or something.

"Cool room," I said. He placed down his guitar and was about to say something, but Eridan barged into the room with a Dungeons and Dragons kit. I tried holding in a laugh.

"Wwater you doin' in here?" he asked.

"I heard something in here and went to check it out," I replied.

"Did he hurt you or somethin'?" he asked. I laughed a little.

"I'm fine," I said, getting up. I walked with Eridan out of the room and back into his room. I stared at the kit or whatever he had.

"Wwelp, I heard that Mindfang is comin' ovver and, ya knoww, her and Dual get a little rough," he said. I blushed a little.

"Uh, should I leave, then?" I asked, getting a little uncomfortable.

"I don't knoww yet," he replied, peering down the hallway. "But when yoy hear them run down the hallway, that should be a signal. I smiled nervously.

"Um, alright," I said. "I'll just get going now."

"Awwww," he said. He walked me out to the hallway. "Wwanna hang out again in the future?"

"Sure," I said, giving him a hug with made him flush purple and freeze. Cronus got out of his room and saw me.

"Leavin' so soon?" he asked. Apparently he was listening to our conversation.

"Yeah, see ya, Cro," I said, walking downstairs and out of the house.

"Goodbye, Mr. Ampora."

"See ye tomorrow!"
