In a whirlwind of promises and bands they twirl,
Chasing dreams with each affectionate whirl.
Everywhere, happy unions soar high,
But in shadows, I ponder my own sigh.
Four years of love, yet no ring to show,
Future unsure, a dimming glow.
While others embrace their life's new stage,
I wander, lost in a confusing maze.
Questions linger in the still of night,
Will he propose, make my world bright?
Or should I brave the path alone,
Shape my fate, claim the unknown?
Amidst others' celebrations grand,
I struggle with what's in demand.
To wedded joy or solo quest?
In silence, I'll find my unrest.
Though doubt clouds my sight askew,
Strength whispers, "You'll make it through."
Whether with him or on my own,
I'll carve a future yet unknown.
