Winona looked up from her shiny loafers when she heard someone stop at the door of her compartment. Her heart began beating erratically from nervousness.
Her light brown eyes were met with a pale girl around her age, the girl had platinum blonde hair which was made up into a tight, high ponytail, and her big bright blue eyes were hard to miss. She looked Winona up and down before settling her wide eyes on the small girl's face, grimacing while squeaking out "I know what you are." before promptly slamming the door shut, rushing away from the befuddled girl's compartment.
Winona was left blinking, staring at the closed door in surprise.
The muddled girl then turned towards the window to look at her frowning reflection, trying to understand why the big blue-eyed girl reacted to her like that. The small girl didn't see anything different from what she would usually see in the mirror. The disheartened girl sighed before looking back down at her shoes as she began bouncing her knee up and down once again.

It was thirty minutes before the train finally left the platform.
During those thirty minutes, she had counted six young children who had stopped at her compartment only to take a peek at her before gaining a frightened expression, promptly slamming the door and rushing away.
After the last boy rushed away Winona had finally had enough.
The tired young witch stood up and locked the door before closing the curtains so the compartment seemed full. After the train started to move she took a blanket out of a small bag she had kept from the rest of her luggage before laying it over the seat, and after smoothing out any wrinkles the worn-out witch laid down and covered her body with the new school cloak from her school robes.
As soon as she laid her head down, there was a knock at the door.
Everything in the exhausted witch wanted to ignore it but she didn't want to seem rude, so with a quiet sigh the knackered witch got up from her oh-so-comfortable position and opened the compartment door.
The young witch was met with a smiling old witch who had a cart filled with magical treats.
"Anything from the trolley Dear?" The old witch asked her.
Winona looked down at the cart in front of her to get a good look at the treats while she contemplated her answer for a bit.
On one hand, Winona didn't know anything about regular treats, nevermind magical treats thanks to her mother never allowing them in the house, meaning she hadn't a clue of what to choose. But on the other hand, the young witch had a terrible sweet tooth, not to mention the fact that she wasn't in her parents' care for the time being.
I could get everything from the cart and have my own little test-tasting party. The young witch had decided.
"I'll take one of everything please," Winona replied to her with a small smile while handing the sweet old witch two galleons.

After sorting through all of her treats the young and newly liberated witch decided to only eat three treats and put the rest in her bag for later.
Since Winona didn't have much experience with the magical sweets, she kept it safe by picking out a chocolate frog, spider pop, and lastly, a hazelnut chocolate bar.
She slowly opened up the chocolate frog first but just before she could get a good look at it, the frog leapt out. Startled by the live chocolate, she didn't have time to grab her wand before she mumbled, "Arresto momentum." while pointing at the frog, watching as the pesky chocolate quickly slowed down mid-leap.
