Winona woke with a jump.
Startled, she whipped around and ended up hitting the back of her head against the window, the young witch let out a quiet wince before rubbing her head. With her hand cradling her head, her heart racing as she took in her surroundings. The young witch took in the quiet, dark, desolate, empty compartment and sighed.
At least in her dream, she wasn't lonely.
What a realistic dream. Winona thought to herself as she replayed the dream in her head, trying to remember what happened as the memories began to fade away.
That dream was the most realistic dream she ever had. It felt as if she was actually there, she could hear and feel everything, it felt less like a dream and more like a memory of some sort.
The young witch let out another sigh as she looked outside to see if she was close to the school yet but apparently, she hadn't slept as long as she thought as she checked her watch, the time being three thirty in the afternoon.
Winona rolled her eyes and she turned her body to face the compartment door, pulling up her legs to rest along the length of the seat so she could stretch her sore legs out.
The young witch let her head fall back to rest against the window with her hands folded onto her lap while she thought back to her dream. Was I having a vision of the future?
No, I think the boy called me someone else, what was it again?
What could it have meant?
I was probably so lonely that my subconscious must have tried to fill in the void. She thought, realizing as she had a conversation with herself in her head.
Oh how she wished the dream was a vision of the future, then at least she would know that she would make friends at some point.
Winona was so lonely that she dreamed of having friends for goodness sake.
What is your dream Ms.Forelowe? She asked herself sarcastically in her head.
Oh, you know, the usual Frank, actually having friends. She said back to herself.
Sighing, the young witch figured she would read to pass the time. Summoning her book, Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them, the eighteenth edition, the young witch, got comfortable before reading the book once again.
She read the book one and a half times before the train finally came to a stop. Deciding that she didn't want to get caught in the large crowd getting off the train, she waited until most of the students were off the train while folding up her blanket, putting it into her bag as she passed the time. When the coast was clear Winona grabbed her bag and luggage before hopping off the train.
"First years, up here with me!" The young witch heard a rough voice shout towards her right, she turned her head to the sound of the rough voice, trying to find where she was supposed to go.
Her eyes found the person belonging to the rough voice, finding a rough-looking man who must have been, at least, eight feet tall. She looked the rough-looking man up and down before as she made her way towards him.
"Last call for first years!" The tall man yelled as he looked around for any first-year stragglers. When he found none he turned his gaze over to the first-year group in front of him.
Since the small girl was in the back she couldn't hear him very well, so she just followed her fellow first years as they gathered their luggage together before leaving it to walk towards a lake.
