Sanem slowly woke up from the  sun rays dancing mercilessly on her eyelids. The air felt crisp and smelled almost of snow.  In her morning grogginess Sanem forgot where she was and felt a warm breathe on the back of her neck. For a moment Sanem panicked until she felt his arms wrapped around her. She turned her head and saw a peaceful Can sleeping, leaning his whole body into her back as he held Sanem close to him. Sanem gave his arm a little squeeze feeling the warmth and love of his hold. She wanted to turn to face Can and stroke the strands of hair away from his face, or feel the light bristle of his beard but she didn't want to wake him. Instead Sanem took the time to relish in his grip while looking at the room around her. She realized she hadn't spent much time really looking at this little cottage that Can would hide away in. It was filled with Can's photographs, and treasures he brought back from his travels. Every shelf and every piece in this little one room cottage was just so Can.  It amazed Sanem how the essence of a person could be seen in one room. She always wondered why Can tried so hard to see her room, but now she understood. It wasn't about the trinkets, the clothing, the posters on her walls, or the books that rested on her nightstand. It was everything- It was Her.  Can was desperate to know Sanem from the very beginning.

No one has ever wanted to know Sanem as desperately and as completely as Can did. This realization made facing Can a need more than a want and Sanem tried to carefully turn towards Can to see him clearer. Sanem's movements didn't wake Can but instead caused him to instinctively hold her tighter in his sleep. She buried her head into his chest soaking in that feeling of being wanted.

Sanem thought of getting out of bed and surprising Can with some cay, but she couldn't bring herself to break the embrace. She smiled as she smelled his cologne still lingering on his skin, and hugged him, closing the gap between them. Sanem relished in how well they fit together, and how her albatross would be with her forever.

Forever. The concept kept playing around in Sanem's mind. It made her feel like she was no longer a tangible being but a puff of air floating around this quaint little mountain cottage. Sanem held on tighter to Can to ground her in that little futon bed. The more she deepened their hug the more she knew this was real and not a dream she would eventually awaken from.

A short while later, Can slowly stirred awake. With his eyes still closed he reached down and kissed Sanem's head saying groggily, "Gunaydin Birtanem."

Sanem still resting on his chest began to play with his albatross necklace, "Gunaydin, Sevgilim."

Can stroked Sanem's soft hair taking in her glorious scent. One deep inhale and her scent filled his chest and his heart with peace.

"I could get used to this for the rest of my life," Can said after kissing her hair once again.

"Me too," Sanem said staring into Can's eyes earnestly, "for the rest of my life."

Can's heart skipped a beat with her words' deep meaning lingering in the air. All he ever wanted was for he and Sanem to be open without any barriers - and they were finally there.

Sanem seeing the elation in Can's eyes couldn't help herself and she kissed Can lightly on the lips. The kiss was so shy and sweet that Can's smile reached his eyes. Sanem loved Can's full smile. It was as if the whole world shined by it's presence.

Sanem began to trace those little smile creeses Can had around his eyes which made them crease even more. It made Sanem smile in return.  Can's heart began to race as Sanem started to outline the rest of his features. Sanem traced the the slope of his nose, the angular points of his jaw, the fullness of Can's lips. Can closed his eyes feeling his desire strengthen with every light touch of her fingers. Every time Can thought Sanem was finished, she would discover another route of his features to explore.

After a few moments, Can opened his eyes with a smoldering heat behind them. He swiftly adjusted his position where he was now hovering over Sanem. He didn't want to rush Sanem into something she wasn't ready for so he followed her lead. With a flirtatious note Can started to trace his own lines of her features; from Sanem's neck all the way down to the edge of her sleeve that met just above her wrist. Every stroke of his fingers made Sanem tremble with excitement. Can continued his exploration by giving a few light kisses down Sanem's neck. Can could feel Sanem's pulse racing as he made contact with her skin.  Sanem arched exposing her neck graciously allowing Can to explore more efficiently. He lifted his smoldering eyes and saw Sanem's were closed, and her cheeks flushed.

Can smiled at the effect he had on Sanem and tugged on the edge of Sanem's sleeve trying to break the moment before it went too far,  "You know you could have borrowed one of my shirts?"

Sanem breathless and confused replied, "What?"

Sanem slowly started to wake up from the haze, while Can continued to play with the edge of her sleeve grazing lightly Sanem's wrist to her forearm.

"My shirt you borrowed, the last time. You could have borrowed it again," Can smiled mischievously.

Can saw the dazed look of overwhelming desire in Sanem's eyes which emboldened him more. Can continued to trace down her thigh as well and said with a grin," I do recall it fit you well."

"Can, " Sanem said as a playful warning.

"mmm?" Can continued to focus on her sleeve and the skin exposed around it, and the way her thick pajamas weren't too thick to take away her form and allowed him to feel the heat rising from her skin.

"I have my own clothing, Can", Sanem said trying to focus on her words while Can was being distracting, "and wearing your shirt would have made me freeze. It's the middle of winter and we are in a cottage with no heat remember?"

Can nodded ," Oh you're cold? I'm sorry" he responded fainting worry as he brought her closer and wrapped the blanket around Sanem. Can tucked them in tightly under the blanket as if they were in a one person sleeping bag.

Sanem squealed, "Can!"

"What?" Can said with a smug wink, "I'm warming you up."

Sanem blushed with a knowing laugh, "Oh really?"

Can nodded as he started to nibble on Sanem's ear lobe.

And the  world disappeared for a few more hours.
