Energon levels were pretty low. How long has it been since she had the last of her energon reserves? Dreamweaver lost track a long time ago. She could feel herself grow weaker and weaker as time went on. The last energon cache she raided was a failure, barely making it out alive with little energon, but serious injuries that took cycles for her to patch up. If she doesn't find a nearby energon deposit soon, she'll go into statis lock to preserve energy. Not to mention, she needed some for fuel, so the spaceship she was in could still fly. Dreamweaver made her way to the main console, taking a seat as she typed in a few commands, her eight, long spider legs on her back went and typed on some side consoles as she tried to use the ships star map to find the nearest energon deposit.
Dreamweaver: I don't know how long I have left, but I refuse to spend my final moments on this rust bucket drifting in this ever-black abyss!
Dreamweaver thought back to all the times she was close to death. From going up to Cybertron's surface after... the incident... and avoiding the gunfire, infiltrating both Autobot and Decepticon hideouts for resources, and her raids on Decepticon controlled energon deposits. The fact that Dreamweaver hasn't gone insane from taking to herself and enduring hardship after hardship is a mystery.
As she continued searching through the star map, she jumped at the sound of the ship's alarm going off. All five of her green optics widened.
Dreamweaver: What?! Computer, what's going on?!
Ship's AI: Warning. Asteroid field approaching. Proceed with caution.
Dreamweaver groaned. She looked out the front windows and saw the incoming space rocks approaching fast.
Dreamweaver: Great! Just my luck!
Dreamweaver grabbed the ship's steering controls and made a break for it. The ship flew around and in between the asteroids, trying its best to avoid getting hit. Dreamweaver thought she was going make it, only for her to jinx it when she felt the telltale sound of something colliding with the ship, causing her to fall forward onto the console.
Dreamweaver: What now?!
Ship's AI: Warning. Damage to right thruster detected. Activating emergency systems. Initiating alternate route.
Dreamweaver: What?!
Before Dreamweaver knew it, the ships' emergency system activated as the ship steered itself through the asteroid field. The sudden movement caused the Arachnicon to lose her balance and fall to the metal floor. Before Dreamweaver could regain herself, another asteroid had collided with the ship. By the time Dreamweaver had left the asteroid field, the alarms grew so loud that she barely heard the ship's AI speak once more.
Ship's AI: Warning. Damage to left thruster detected. Both thrusters offline. Preparing emergency landing to nearby planetary body.
Dreamweaver: What?! No! Override! Override!
It was too late. The ship entered the gravitational field of a small blue and green planet. The pull sends the ship, hurtling down as Dreamweaver hangs onto something for dear life. As the ship continues falling through the planet's atmosphere, she can vaguely see land fast as everything goes black. The last thing she hears is the sound of impact.
EARTH. UKNOWN LOCATION.
It had been a few days since the Autobot's had seen any form of action. Ever since their battle on the space bridge and witnessing Megatron's supposed demise and the whole Skyquake incident, Team Prime had hoped things would ease up. Though, now that Starscream was in charge of the Decepticons, they had to be prepared for anything the seeker had in stored. Then again, this was Starscream they were talking about. He couldn't lead a parade if his life depended on it. Another thing Team Prime had to adjust to was the addition of their human allies. Three human adolescents had encountered the Autobots during a tense situation. While most of Team Prime thought they would be nothing but nuisances, it turns out they were helpful during the space bridge battle. Some more useful than others.
