"Oh, Blu. We should have never left Moose Lake. This is all my fault,"sobbed Linda outside the aviary after the news of the birdnapping incident reached her ears.

"No, no, Linda. Linda, please,"the doctor consoled,"This is not your fault."

"You're right. It's not my fault."she sniffled putting her glasses back on,soon  lashed out at Tulio,"ITS YOUR FAULT!"

"WHAT THE---"

" WITH YOUR LITTLE BIRD TALK AND THAT WHOLE--,"she danced in a mocking accent till Tulio fell to the ground," saves the species-- WELL YOU KNOW WHAT... SQUAK SQWAUKETY SQUWAK SQUWAK!!!"

Realising what she said,she covered her mouth ,"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to curse."

"I... I don't understand. Sylvio is the best guard in the business,"he stood up

Linda and Tulio watched as Sylvio gets questioned by a police officer,"So let me get this straight. You were attacked by a little white bird?"

"Yes, with this rag,"he held up a small white rag and clutched it with his hand towards his face,"He held it to my mouth like... like this,"muffling,he fainted

The officer sniffed the white rag and as he did so,the officer sighed and fainted immediately.

"We're doomed,"said the woman ....calmly.

Blu chants to himself with fear whilst trapped in a cage," Okay. Okay. There's no place like home. There's no place like home. Oh, how I wish I was back in my own cage, with my mirror and my swing,my sister and my little bell. Oh, how I miss my little bell."

"Shh! Play dead,"said jewel after she ripped the cloth covering the cage through the gap

She then dropped to the floor of the cage on her back

"What? I don't need to play dead. I'm about to have a heart attack!"exclaimed Blu

"Just do it!"

" Fine,"he sighed then stretched his wings, moaning as he did,soon fell to the ground gagging,grunting and fake twitching.

"Stop twitching,"said jewel

"Oh, come on. It's the twitching that sells it,"he pointed out with his claw.

" Shh."

"Come on in, kid,"said the man as he opened the door

A boy placed the cage holding Blu and Jewel on the table in front of the man,"Well, what do you know? Good work, Fernando. You see, boys?What did I tell you about this one?"

"That you were going to pay him half as much as you said?"another man  questioned however got slapped by the first man in the face," Ow!"

" No, you idiot! That he reminds me of myself when I was that age. Sweet, resourceful. Here you go, kid," he handed the boy some money.

" Hey. This is only half of what you promised me,"said the boy as he held the money

"Ah, shut up, kid,"said the man as he took off the cover of the cage just to see Blu and Jewel looking dead,"What the...?" he picked up Jewel and pointed towards Fernando,"I thought I told you I needed these birds alive. Tell me, Fernando, does this look alive to you? Huh?"

The spix then bites the first man's thumb and starts flying away squacking.

"Get her!"shouted the man

"Come over here!"grunted his two lackeys as they struggled to catch the female

The spix almost escaped through the vents when just then,the very same cockatoo from the aviary pins her by the throat

"Hello, pretty good. What's the matter? Cockatoo got your throat?,"said the white bird staring wide eyed at the spix

"Nigel! Alive,"shouted the boss

The cockatoo stared at the bird before flying down towards the man
