White Pov

As we reached Uni I went to my class directly, Other students also joined me and After a while Maki came a sit beside me, and then Teacher came. Once class is about to finish Teacher announce us to work on group assignment and our bench partner must be our partner.

"So now we have to work together, Are you still gonna ignore me and failed on assignment or want to do assignment together." Maki asked me.

I sighed and said "It is about study and I want to give my best." I looked at her expecting her to smirk but she gave me genuine smile.

"Ok So from when we can start our work, How about today after class?" She asked me.

"Can we skip today, I have to go somewhere." I replied.

"No issue, Have my number. You can call me when you are free and we can discuss this on call." She said giving me her number. I smiled and give her my number.

After that next teacher came and class continued. As it's time for lunch. Maki stand and about to leave but she stop and turned at me.

"Hey would you like to have lunch with me?" She asked and I looked at her confused. I knew she has lunch with her friends everyday.

"No thanks, You go." I replied and continue my packing.

"Oh Please white, Please have lunch with me. Today my friends are not there and I am not used to eat alone Please na na..." She said showing me her doe eyes.

I sighed, I knew this feeling I used to hate eating alone but now I am used to it. I don't like to get close to anyone but seeing her I remember myself. I smiled and nodded.

We went for lunch, the lunch was awkward as no one is talking.

"Maki..." I said to her and she hummed. "I am sorry..." She looked at me confused.

"That day I should talk to you politely. You were just helping me." I said. I was feeling guilty since that day I treated her bad. but I don't want anyone to be close to me, and I believe this is the best time for me to apologize.

"No issue, Honestly At first I was angry about how you treated me that day but now I realize you are not that bad, you just don't like people Mendel around you." She replied and i looked at her. I can't believe that she is this much sensible, I sort of feel secure around her. 

"By the way, Can we be friends now." Maki asked pulling me out of my thoughts.

"Listen Maki, you are a nice girl, but the problem is with me. I don't trust people easily. And I still need time for trusting you. I hope you get m point." I replied tried to be as honest as I can without being rude.

"It's ok, Thanks to be honest White, and I will tell you something, I like you and I want to be your friend. It doesn't matter for me how much time it take to make you believe me but I truly want to be your friend and I am ready to wait for it." She replied and I could sense sort of honesty in her eyes. and i feel happy.

After lunch, we continue our classes and then I went to meet Paa.

"Paa, How are you? I wish you are happy there. Mae is also Happy here, You must be seeing us from there. I am making you proud na. I missed you so much paa, Mae did too. You know she still feels guilty about choosing master Amin. You are not angry with her na. She loves you dad. But She also need someone to take care of her. Please don't be mad at her na. And don't be worried about me, your princess is happy now. P' hugo started to treat me good, He said he will come to pick me up today, He started to listen me. I know it's not love but it is a good start right. You and mae fell in love after marriage na, Every thing will be fine for us as well." I said to my paa, I talked with him some time then I checked time it's already 7 at evening. I decided to call P' hugo.

After 3 ring he picked my call.

"Hey P'... Are you free now?" I asked, I could hear background voice.

"Yes White, I am almost done. Wait for me. I will come to pick you up." He replied after a while.

"P' If you want you can practice, I can go by myself." I suggested. I don't want to be burden for him. 

"No White, Don't go by yourself. I will be there in a while." He replied 

I decided to not stretch this convo and agreed.

I waited for him for a while beside road. It's 8 at evening. I called him again but this time he cut the call, I thought he must me driving so I waited for some more time.

After Some time

It's 9:30 at night, Till now i called him almost 10 times but he always cut the call.  And weather is also getting bad now. If i called Mae, She will send Master Amin to pick me and then he will definitely punish me. What should I do. I started to get panic. I don't even have friends to call. There is only one person who comes in my mind and I picked my Phone and Called them.

They picked the call after 2nd ring.

"Hey, Whose there" The person said.

"Hey, It's White this side. I know it's wrong time to call but can I asked you a favor." I said being panicked 

"White, Firstly calm down. And tell me what do you want." The person said trying to calm me down

"Can You please come and pick me up from abc place. It's already late and I am not..." I try to explain them but the person cut me

"I am coming. Wait there." The person said and cut the call.

After 10 min a car stopped in front of me and someone open door for me they were maki's friend.

"Hey come inside, We will drop you." Maki said and i followed.
