Theo Melio

He carries a burden of guilt and resentment, stemming from his past actions and his role as a son, a brother, a friend, a husband and a father. He feels a failure as a brother to Oliver and the damage he caused him just like that he fails of failure as a son to his adoptive father, feels a failure as a husband to his beloved and feels a failure to his beloved daughter.

Biography/history -

When he was born in England, being abandoned by his family for unknown reasons, the only way surviving is by stealing from others, constantly getting chased and beaten by those he stole from, until eventually being caught one day and sent to prison..., a man after the boy's food which he gluttonously accepted. The man asked him his name which Theo returns and tells him that his name was Zeke Fray.

Theo escaped from prison with Zeke and lived in his hideout with his son who's been born with a gift named Oliver, being fed by the man whenever Theo met up. Theo often complained about no one has never helped him after he lost his parents, no one gave him shelter, to eat, to get some money, but instead to be beaten and brutalized on a daily basis. At some point, Theo has been kidnapped to be sold by the emperor but was saved yet again by Zeke who had happened to rob the cargo wagon he was on.

Theo asked Zeke to teach him how to steal and fight back, despite Zeke warned him of the dangers of such a lifestyle, Theo accepted it. Zeke then started teaching the boys how to steal and how to fight, though Theo had often failed at his own attempts. At some point, he gave Oliver a flute he made and got him a notebook with pencils as a gift, as a reminder of thankful for being there for him as a friend but more like a brother.

Zeke has decided to adopted Theo as his son and helped Oliver whenever he and Theo both can.

However one day, Theo, who was overtaken by boredom, decides to steal on his own and eventually caught by the guard and beat him to a pulp. Zeke saw the boy being beaten severely by the guards and decided to save him but with a cost that Theo will never forgive himself.

Years later after he and Oliver both moved away as far as possible after the tragedy that happened to their father. They were both wanted as criminals as they were posted on the wanted posters. Theo was playing some kind of a string instrument trying to con people while Oliver uses loaded dice to compete with the sailors. When one of the sailors bet the map to United States, Theo was excited about the idea of an adventure and convinces the not so pleased Oliver to do it even with the sailor's dice. Even though Oliver ironically when, the loaded dice got discovered, they both faked a dual against each other and ran around the city to escape the bull, the townspeople and the guards. The duo hide in barrels and ended being taken aboard the ship that sets off to the new world. The duo were eventually discovered by the sailors and get thrown into the brig.

It was Theo who uses an apple to persuade the captain's horse, to get them the keys to the brig although he meant to have him get the bar. In the dead of night, The Duo hijacked a rowboat and ended up to rescue and bring the horse, who was trying to get the apple, along with them. The trio eventually found land, but was frightened by skeletons laying about. Theo was about to get on the boat when he noticed the carving on the rock that looks like the symbol on the map to United States, revealing that he still had the map. After convincing his brother to follow the map to find the treasure, the trio went on the long journey. Eventually, they found the treasure that's in the cave but only they were discovered by the beasts known as the Hollow.

As they were running away from those creatures, Willow, Salem and Leilah ran into them while trying to escape from those beasts. They all eventually made out alive and went to the place that's meant to be hidden around the world. The boys were amazed by the city's beauty. They were also amazed that they heard stories about the two worlds with legends, fairy tales and so much more and including those types of beasts. Later, Salem meet up with them to make a deal to which they reluctantly agreed to. Theo find Salem attractive, but Oliver tells Theo that Salem's off limits.

During their stay in the acolyte, Theo grew to love the place and wants to stay there forever.

Until a year later, Theo and Willow both fell in love, got married and had a daughter. He's so happy to have a family of his own. Until he and Oliver both found out that Willow and Salem are both immortals due to the reasons why, the duo of both panicked and thought that they'll leave their loved ones all alone due to the age and due to the time.

Until another year later, Theo fell ill with a life-threatening disease and began seeking a cure, which is how he first came across Leilah. Hiding her true intentions, Leilah offered to treat Theo's illness; when he accepted after having a thought about his beloved, she swiftly transformed him into a hollow and left him to run rampant around the town. He killed not only he hurt his family and thought that they're both dead that he killed them both while on this rampage, but also a number of other innocent lives. After the realization of what he had done to his family suck in, he fell into a void of despair.

It is hinted that at some point in his new life, Theo had attempted to kill Leilah to avenge his family and as a revenge on her for turning him into a hollow, a battle he lost. With his spirit completely broken visalia, due to seeing the massive difference in power between himself and her, he eventually became her unwillingly servant in defeat. Willow has found out about what her beloved had become, what he did and mostly why he accepted the offer, causing her to be all heartbroken.

Only soon after becoming a half hollow, he killed the acolytes, shadowhunters, huntsmen and huntresses that were the armies of the academies and brought their heads to.

Shortly one day after he became a half hollow, while walking with Leilah in a forest, the hollows would encounter with Oliver with Willow and her daughter by his side, shockingly and relieved to Theo. Oliver was devastated by his decision to transform, whereas Theo became even more upset about his decision. Beyond this, Theo wasn't as angry seeing him as he expected. Seeing Oliver cry shocked Theo, as it was the first time he had shown emotion in his presence, shocked of him as his friend, he knew that he'll die by the hands of the Hollow. Due to recently gaining a Hollow who possessed the ability to use a spiritual magic, like Leilah and nearly tried to kill her after deeming him weak and unremarkable before determine for Oliver to meet his fate. To her, Willow and Theo's shock, Oliver not only was able to avoid Leilah's attacks up close but completely overpowered her in an instant, giving the deep wounds from the bullets before she could react. Witnessing a clash close up, Theo and his family both watched with renewed hope that the woman who ruined their lives was about to meet her end at the hands of the man who has the weapon of magic to release the spirits.

After Leilah fled by creating a portal, but at the cost of Oliver being struck through his chest by Leilah, Theo became greatly upset at her escape, his friend's death and hatefully yelled at Leilah's name in anger. Suddenly, he realized that he was not dead after saying her name, due to Oliver, causing Leilah to expand so much power to escape, her curse failed to kill him.

When Salem rushed over to save her beloved but shockingly that she was too late and only saw of his body without his heart, heartbroken, despair, sorrow, anger and rage, but mostly grief. Because of it, they never saw Salem nor heard from her ever again.

Until a year later, Theo has discovered a note and a flute that he gave to Oliver as a child, say that seeing that he still thought highly of him even after his transformation and hearing that he knew of what happened to their father and doesn't blame Theo. Unable to truly sever his bond with his friend but as a brother, he decided to keep the flute and the notebook, to remind him of the good times.

Wanting to know more about Willow, she explained everything and told her about her past about Leilah, Salem and Oz and how she became immortal and a witch. She was very upset with her husband but he apologized for everything and promised her that he'll always be there for her and their daughter no matter what. Willow forgave Theo and decided to work together to make their new armies to defeat Leilah and the Hollow, Salem and the Grimm for good. After shockingly finding out about Oliver had a son with Salem, but he still promised that he'll always be by his family's side and changed his ways in order to make up his past.
