Chapter Six:
The Puppet

. . .

Storybrooke
The present

The next day Blair was in the shop she would have rather be at the hospital with Henry. When she heard of Henry eating a poisonous turnover she grew worried. Poison is strange, especially on children and considering he was the only friend she had when she was cursed and he was the kickstarter to her fully waking up. Minutes went by and Emma and Regina walked in.

"Do my eyes deceive me, or is that the look of a believer." Mr. Gold spoke.

"We need your help." Emma said.

"Indeed you do, it seems a tragic ailment has befallen our young friend." Mr. Gold paused before looking at Regina. "I told you, magic comes with a price."

"Henry shouldn't have to pay it." Regina said.

"No, you should, but alas, we are where we are."

"Can you help us?" Emma asked.

"Of course. True love, Ms. Swan- the only magic powerful enough to transcend realms and break any curse. Luckily for you. I happen to have bottled some." Mr. Gold told her.

"You did?" Regina says.

"Oh, yes. From strands of your parents' hair. I made the most powerful potion in all the realm. So powerful that when I created the dark curse. I placed a single drop on the parchment. Just a little safety valve."

"That's why I'm the savior, that's why I can break the curse." Emma said.

"Now you're getting it." Rumple said.

"I don't care about breaking the curse. All I care about is saving Henry." Emma said

"Which is why it's your lucky day. I didn't use all the potion. I saved some for a rainy day." Mr. Gold said.

"Well it's storming like a bitch where is it?" Emma asked.

"Where it is isn't the problem. Getting it is what should worry you." Rumple told her.

"Enough riddles, what do we do?" Regina asked, Blair never thought she would hear desperation come from Regina it was honestly shocking.

"You do nothing. It has to be Ms. Swan." Mr. Gold said.

"He's my son. It should be me." Regina said.

"With all due respect, but it's her son, and it has to be her. She's the product of the magic. She must be the one to find it, and she needs Blair's magic to help."

"You're awake?" Regina looked over at Blair.

"I mean haven't I always. Stuck between two realities not knowing which one was the true one. Henry is the one that saved me, he woke me up." Blair smirked, Regina and Blair's relationship was always strange, they were both the Dark Ones apprentices and she was apart of the select few who knew what Blair looked like.
