Chapter Nineteen:
Welcome to Neverland

Neverland Present Time
It was a bumpy ride going through the portal but then everything became calm, meaning they had arrived. "Is that it?" Emma asked as the group looked ahead towards the island.
"Aye. Neverland." Blair looked over at her father and noticed he was more on edge he looked worried and that made Blair's anxiety's worse.
"Why are you slowing down in case you didn't know my son's life is in danger." Regina said walking over to him.
"Oh, I know, my hotheaded Queen. My plan is to bring us to the far side of the island, link up with the widest part of the river. Then we sail right through and take him by surprise. The irony." Killian said.
"What irony?" Regina asked.
"Oh, I spent more time than I care to remember trying in to this place and to kill Rumplestiltskin. And here I am, sailing right back into its heart with him as my guest of honor. It's not the happy ending I was hoping for." Killian said.
"Greg Mendell said something funny to me. He said I'm a villain and that villains don't get happy endings. You believe that?"
"I hope not. Or we've wasted our lives." Killian said.
Emma and her parents were arguing about something when Rumple interrupted in an outfit suited for him in the Enchanted Forest and Blair just rolled her eyes, "No you wont." He told them.
"Oh, well, that's a great use of our time, a wardrobe change." Killian said.
"I am gonna go get Henry." He told them.
"We agreed to do this together." Regina said.
"Actually, we made no such agreement." Rumple said.
"Why are you doing this?" Emma asked.
"Because I want to succeed."
"What makes you think I'm gonna fail?" Emma questioned.
"How could you not. You don't believe in your parents. Or in magic. Or in yourself." Rumple listed off. "I slayed a dragon. I think I believe." She told him.
"Only what was shown to you. When have you ever taken a real leap of faith? You know, the kind where there's absolutely no proof. I've known you some time, Ms. Swan, and sadly, despite everything you've been through, you're still that bail bondsperson. Looking for evidence. Well, dearie that's not gonna work in Neverland." Rumple told Emma.
"I'll do whatever it takes." Emma told Rumple.
"Or you just need someone to tell you what that is. Sorry, dearie. Our foe is too fearsome for hand-holding. Neverland is a place where imagination runs wild, and sadly yours doesn't." Rumple told her before turning towards Blair. "Her's does better watch out for her closely" She just looked him in the eye before he spun his cane and disappeared leaving it behind and he was gone.
