I am still not good with descriptions so just try reading the first chapter. This is a Young Justice book.

Hal walked up to the coffee shop and almost immediately spotted Carol. He decided to try and sneak up on her and got within three steps before: "don't even think about it Jordan."
"Haha, it's nice to see you too Carol," he greeted his off and on girlfriend. "So what's going on?"
Carol smiled slightly at him, "cutting to the chase as always when Eve's involved." Seeing the look in his eyes she quickly, but not frantically, explained, "she's not in danger if that's what you're worried about, at least no more than usual. I stopped by your place to see her and we caught up for a while. Eventually the topic changed to her crush on Dick and she told me she's been feeling and acting strangely recently: jealousy, her mind drifting at random moments, butterflies whenever he smiles at her."
"The usual stuff, I still feel some of that when I'm with you by the way," Hal told her smiling, bringing a smile to her own face. The smiles were dropped when Carol spoke again.
"I decided to take a little peek at how she's feeling about Robin specifically because I was a little uneasy about some of the things she told me."
"And? I don't really like that you violated her privacy like that but it's too late to do anything about it now."
"Eve doesn't just have a crush on Dick Hal, she's in love with him," Carol dropping the L-bomb was not something she did lightly before she had gotten her ring, now it felt like an eclipse happened more often than she used the word like this. Because of that Hal went completely slack-jawed.
"... You're absolutely sure?"
Carol nodded almost gravely at the question. "She probably doesn't realize it herself yet, but with the way things are going it won't be long before she does. She's a very smart girl after all."
Hal sat back and sighed, "which means things are going to get really out of hand soon, especially if she doesn't tell him."
Carol squirmed a little grabbing Hal's attention once more, "there's something else isn't there?"
She nodded and reached into her pocket, pulling out a ring identical to the one she wore on her right middle finger.

"I intercepted it on my way back.... It chose Eve."
Hal looked at the ring. Then at Carol. Back to the ring.

So this one is a shorter chapter but that's largely due to the fact I covered all the bases I wanted to and yes Eve will eventually learn about the ring. As for her own feelings and how Dick responds... you'll just have to wait and see. BBFN
