Partners do have their secrets they don't always share. Undertaker and I were no different. While I was hiding the invitation to the Trancy estate, he refused to tell me about the discussion with Ciel.

Speaking of the Earl, he left once his appearance was more appropriate for his status. But he still had one major problem to deal with, he had to find his butler. Sebastian didn't see any reason to go back so soon. Unable to control himself, a few forests had to be destroyed.

Undertaker didn't seem to care about it, instead, he wanted to take me out.
For the first time I met him, he closed the shop early.

Pleased to be with him, we took a walk towards the church. From there was a path to the country side. Expecting a picnic on a field of flowers sounded very romantic. Something that doesn't seem to be his style. He did have a basket with himself, but his hands pulled me towards the church. Not impressed, we sat in the middle of graves.

"Who died?" Was the first thing that came to my mind.

Undertaker shrugged, "No one at a moment. I just wanted to do something special today."

"It is special alright..." I looked around uncomfortable, "...but really, a graveyard?"

"It is a wonderful place...to be together."

Forcing a smile I got a little closer to his side, "I hope you mean on the ground, not under it."

Started by the appearance of a shovel,he chuckled creepy, "That too, if you want."

"Why the hell are you carrying a shovel with you around?!"

"Just in case I need it."

"On a day out?!"

He shrugged, "You never know, human drop dead every day."

"But not this very instant!"

Disappointed, he removed the shovel from his coat. I was waiting for something else. He has answered my question about marriage for a week now. He really took his time with that. Annoyed, I had to give him a little push, "So...what is the reason for this day out?"

"You didn't look so well, I thought some fresh air would do you good."

Convincing, but so much effort for some fresh air? I pushed further,"And?"

"And what?"

I faced him in disbelieve, "Is that it?"

"That's it"

Now I was the one disappointed. The mood was ruined by his words. I can't believe that this was all.

"No, there is one thing."

I knew it!

"Come with me."

We went inside the church, till we reached the roof. My legs began to lose their balance, since I was afraid of heights. Undertaker ignored it, walking higher to the tower. From there I could see the country side and London's tower. I panicked as he climbed onto the roof, "What are you doing?!"

"I forgot something up there. You have to help me get it."

"I...I...I can't."

Reaching out his hand to me, he whispered, "Trust me."

Shaking violently and terrified, I refused to look down. Not even looking at him helped. At the top, was something shiny. To small to see from the distance, but once I got closer...

...I couldn't believe it.

A ring.

A golden ring was lying on the roof.

"Undertaker, why do you have a ring on the...Undertaker? Undertaker!" I was distracted for a minute, how did he disappear like that? I didn't hear him move away. Because of that, I accidentally looked down. My heart was running a marathon, fearing for my life. If this was a joke, it was not a good one.

"N\A, over here!"

He was on the ground, staring up to me. His next words terrified me. The mortician reached out his arms, "Jump!"

"Are you out of your mind?! I am not jumping from a roof?!"

"I catch you! Trust me!"

He seriously expected me to do this? Was he nuts?!

"You better hurry up!"

What does he meant? He is still raising his arms up.

"What are you saying?"

He shouted up, that either I jump or the towel will do it for me. Not prepared of the tower collapsing, I screamed all the way down towards the mortician. With my eyes shut, I waited for death to arrive, with my body splattered all over the stones.

It never came.

He kept his word and caught me, like a feather.

"This wasn't so bad now was it?"

Slap!!!!

"Don't ever do that again?!!!!" My face was messed up with tears running down my face, red eyes and my voice cracking. Suddenly, I cried loud, making the Undertaker concerned. Holding me close to him, "Sorry for what I done to you. I needed clarity."

"For what?!!!!!"

"I wanted to know how far you would go for meeee."

Slapping him was not useful...I strangled him instead.

"You could have just asked!!!!!"

I know he is a psycho, but this bad I didn't expect. His grip tightened, choking out the words, while my hands were shaking him violently, "I promise, this was the last time I do such a thing to you."

"Swear it!"

"I swear, on my future wife's life. To protect her and will be at her side forever."

Releasing his throat, I asked him, "You have no wife!"

Taking the ring off my hand, he placed it on my ring finger, "Now I do."

"You have an awful way of proposing" Slowly, my heart was beating in a regular rhythm again.

"But I am sure, you will never forget it."

"How can I?! I nearly fell down to my de...."
He didn't let me finish, shutting me up with a passionate kiss. Just like on the top of the tower, my legs gave up on me. Lost in his touch, I gave myself to him, wrapping my arms through his hair, knocking over his hat.

Nearby stood someone and watched this whole scene. We didn't hear, as he smashed a tree in two, with only one hand. It got worse as we parted from another and Undertaker began to tickle me. To hear me laugh was just too much for the missing butler. With a glare he turned on his heel, leaving us alone. Seeing me twirled around in the reaper's arms would give him the rest.
