Gold veins crawled up her arm as her hands lit up in defense, "Ah, no! Please don't-"

"Hi-yah!!"

A... Cane. . was thrown inside the monsters ear causing it to squeak and hold its bleeding earlobe.

Y/n look around for the culprit of such a thing, her eyes darting back to wounded monster as a larger one towered over it. A smaller goblin like creature beside it.

"Gripes!" Y/n backed away as the larger being picked up the goblin, bringing him closer to the cane. The goblin snatched it's cane, "Master has picked this maiden, not you!"

It was a lanky shadow. No really. The monsters pelt or skin rivaled the color of the night sky and it's arms and legs streatched like the tallest tree with the branches being it's fingers and toes.

Its head was covered by a wooden mask, hand carved from bark, only eyeholes and a mouth were seen but no sign of the those features.

On top of it's head was a paper crown colored in. It would have been cute if the monster jaw didn't come unhinged and the mask lifted to make room the void, "oh glob" Y/n whispered as she turned away from the scene, wincing and the snap and crunch she heard.

"How was your meal, Master?" The small goblin tapped his cane on the bottom of beast feet before waddling toward Y/n. He swung his cane into Y/n's knee.

"Ow!" Y/n's eyes flashed at the pain.

"Pardon me, but unfortunately, your beauty and power have caught the godly eye, of my master, " the goblin pointed to the larger monster.

Silence began to fill the air and after a few more seconds, Y/N squeaked as one long pinky finger grabbed. . . Well stabbed a leaf from the top of her head before patting it gently.

"Thank-Thank you. . " the beast pointed to the crown with determination and pride, ". . your majesty? You're a Royal?"

"Yes ma'am he is. King to the greatest kingdom who have ever laid eyes on. Most powerful even."

Y/n raised an eyebrow, "is that right?"

It clapped in excitement as the cleaver girl guessed, the beast shaking the Earth as it did. "Whoa. . "

"And my name is. . . Well my master has yet to name me, but no matter! It has been said that master has found his wife, which is you."

"H-how do you mean?" Y/n still shaken tried to process the different events that seemed to be happening all at once.

The small goblin twisted his cane in his hand, pushing Y/n by the back of her knee closer the dark king. "Exactly what I've said. You are to wed my master. Did you not get the letter he sent you moons ago."

Y/n jumped over the cane, kicking the goblin down with her foot on his chest, "you mean that creepy one on my birthday?!" Y/n looked up in disbelief, "that was. . . That was you?"

The great beast clapped again, bending down to the girls height and poking a pointy finger at the goblin's face.

"A-ack! Master!"

Y/n's fingers began to twitch, sparks flying from her palms," 'I will have you'. . That's what it read. T-that you've been watching me even before Finn and Jake Ev- even before. . Before the ice break."

"Use It"

"Who. . Are you?!"

"Use It!"

Light began to build in Y/n's chest, lightening cracking around her her scorching the ground. Golden tears poured from her eyes in anger and fear.

Angry because everything was happening at once and fear of what may become her if she let this shot go.
