Mordecai's POV:

The Trigger-Happy Savoy's are getting on my last nerve. "Oh, c'mon cher don't you ever have fun! Just drink a lil' it ain't do no harm." Serafine tried to convince me, but drinking leads to nothing good.

"No Id like to remain vigilant, unlike you I would rather not be less-than discreet about what I do."

"Were in here," Serafine uses her arms to express the grandness of the Marigold Speakeasy. "Mordecaiii~ just a little sip it won't kill you." Putting her arm around me.

Pulling my handkerchief out I use it to grab her arm away. "Disgusting." Dusting himself off, and putting it back in his pocket.

"Never no fun. Not even chicken worthy." Nicodine sighs, crossing his arms. "Why would I want to be a chicken, it seems rather counter-intuitive. Easy prey, while we're at it."

They both roll their eyes. "Let's just go, maybe will convince you to indulge in living another day." She huffs, chugging her pint of 'Galweisers' down

As we stepped outside into the light drizzle, I noticed a person sitting next to a light pole.

"Hmm." Enticing. As I step closer to it, hearing louder and louder hums and tunes out of their mouth.

Something just drew me to this person, I don't understand what could have been maybe the aroma sweet and sound a comforting smell that made it through this watered air.

Whatever it may be I edged closer.

A familiar face showing themselves, "Y/n?" Surprised, what are they doing out here. In our territory of all places, it's dangerous. Offering my hand they get up, wobbling, struggling to even stand properly.

"Mordecai?" Their sweet succulent voice calls my name. It's as if the sky was calling my name. Absurd notions but I can't help but to feel light.

"Mordecai I-" tripping as they stepped closer to me, quickly reacting grabbing their waist. "Oooooh- Mon cher, can have a little fun" Nicodine nudges his sister.

Cackling, the two siblings grin. "Quite a smooth talker to frére-frére." Resting her arm on her brother as they tease and mock him.

"Who is this lovely little lady, in my presence?" Serafine comes and kisses your hand. "I'm Serafine, but I suppose it would be quite rude to steal the only person to really intrigue Mon amis attention."

"After we've never seen him even talk to a person, let alone approach them." Laughing while poking Mordecai.

"Could you please, give us a moment." Mordecai glares sternly. The siblings look at each other for a moment, then start to grin. "Of course, have fun now." Both mocking and winking at him. Before walking away back into the bar. Hearing cackles as they go back in.

A moment of silence, exudes here, as the faint rain drizzles its all illuminated by the sight of their near presence. The clouds in a pattern only the heavens would know, of the even know...

"Y/n, what are you doing here?" Bewildered, with nothing else to say.

"I missed you. *HiCcUp* Mordecai, I've all but missed you." They cling onto me. "I needed to sheee you!" Almost yelling their words. Slurring them, in a fashion unlike Y/n.

"What do you mean? Why did you need to see me?" His eyes widen, absolutely enthralled just by their presence.

"I love you, and you just left. You broke Viktor, then you broke me.. Mordecai I love you." Practically pleading, right on his new placements doorstep.
