Sigewinne's POV
"Mr. Wriothesley isn't that bad. Sure, he was staring a lot, but everyone does that. From what I saw, he's just kind of awkward." Freminet said.
From what he saw? Yes.
From all that happened afterward?
That all showed that Dad is an idiot.
"I for one second Sigewinne's opinion." A voice suddenly sounded.
This time Lynette quickly grabbed onto Lyney's shirt before he could fall off the bed once more.
Lo and behold, Ms. Arlecchino stood at the door once more.
I couldn't help but glare at her slightly.
"Don't insult my dad behind his back. Only I can insult him behind his back. If you want to talk bad about him, go do it to his face, or at least, don't do it in front of me." I grumbled.
Hmph!
She actually dared to laugh!
What is she laughing about?! I'm Serious!
Tsk!
You can't just insult my dad to my face! You can't talk about him behind his back either without my approval!
"Does Wriothesley know that his daughter is so bossy?" She chuckled.
"Well, he raised me."
And I boss him around as well.
I'm not sure if she was satisfied or just really amused by that answer, but she turned her attention away from me and looked at Lyney instead just as he managed to find his balance again.
"Lyney, dear. Why do you keep getting scared like that? Did you not do your homework?" She asked teasingly.
And Lyney...
He turned away and let out an awkward chuckle.
...
Seriously?
You're not done with homework and instead of finishing it before someone notices you are here fooling around with us?
Lynette cast him a mocking glance, Freminet looked at him with pity, and Ms. Arlecchino looked royally unimpressed.
"We are leaving in 15 minutes. I suggest you get on with it. I hope you three are also done packing since when Lyney and I are leaving, you two are leaving too."
And for the second time, she left without waiting for an answer.
I was right. The people Mister knows are all weird.
This lady likes to appear and leave without as much as a hello and goodbye.
"Is she always like this?" I couldn't help but ask.
The three of them just nodded.
"And are you guys done with packing?"
I didn't even dare to ask about Lyney's homework. He was sweating buckets as he dug out some papers from somewhere under his bed.
"There wasn't much to pack in the first place." Lynette nodded.
"Right. Uncle has everything at his house already so we only had to pack some private stuff and..."
Freminet cast Lyney a weird glance.
"That and our homework and school stuff for the time we are staying over."
