Wriothesley's POV

"Are you just expecting me to believe that the Phantom is nothing but a story?"

 "You can just read it."

I don't want to read your fake cover-up, thank you.

"If it's not a story, can you point out a single member of this mystery organization?"

 "Vautrin for one-"

I shut my mouth as soon as I realized.

First, I had just blurted out classified information.

Secondly, I'm pretty sure I just ruined Neuvillette's attempts at hiding why he was sad, though on second thought, that might not be a bad thing.

 "Vautrin...?"

Snow's gaze turned from me to Neuvillette, and she just said:

 "Ah."

It certainly didn't take long for her to figure out what was going on, huh?

The silence was unbearable, but I didn't know how to break it.

 Apparently, I didn't have to.

A few moments later, Neuvillette sighed before speaking up.

"Could you both cover your ears?"

Huh?

Snow and I looked at him and then at each other, confused, but we followed his request.

As soon as we did, Neuvillette turned slightly towards the stairs and, with a volume I didn't know was possible for a human being, shouted:

"Kids, put some clothes on! We are going to your Auntie Chiori's!"

 Damn!

 What the hell?

That was the loudest and clearest shout I have heard in like... ever.

 "Impressive, isn't it?" Snow smirked.

Impressive doesn't begin to cover it.

Since the shout was that loud and clear, it was no surprise when, following thundering footsteps, four kids appeared by the stairs and disappeared down the hall.

Well, three of them did. Sigewinne stood still for a moment to give Neuvillette a thumbs up.

 "Mister, that was really impressive!"

"Why, thank you, your highness." Neuvillette smiled at her.

My usually shameless little princess giggled slightly and turned away, trying to hide the blush creeping up her face, and bolted after the rest.

To be honest, fair enough. Who wouldn't blush if Neuvillette smiled like that at them while calling them 'your highness' so sincerely?

"Vivi, dearest, you're raising the children's standards again." Snow sighed.

 "Hmm?"

"They'll all end up single for life if they base their expectations of a partner on you."

"Their partners should do at least this much."

"I do believe you just cut down their dating pool to about 0.1% of the population with that one."

"Even I alone know at least a few people who fit that standard." Neuvillette countered.

Snow just raised an eyebrow, motioning for Neuvillette to list a few of them.

"Wriothesley, Navia, Furina, Clorinde, Zhongli, Chiori, Baizhu, Childe-"
