Chapter 16 | Name Game

Some time had passed once Mr Aizawa announced that you would be starting your internships in a week's time and that you all needed to make a decision by the weekend.

You gathered with your friends as they began to discuss who they were considering joining in an internship. Midoriya was scanning the general agency sheet while Uraraka expressed her interest in Gunhead's Hero Agency.

"He's a scrappy rough-n-tough battle hero I thought?" You asked the brunette who gave fake punches in the air,

"What makes you wanna go with him Uraraka? I was sure you'd go with someone like Thirteen..." Midoriya commented

"Yeah that's true... but all in all the results of mine and Bakugo's fight really got me to start thinking... By doing the same old thing, is it really possible to ever get stronger?" She explained with a smile and another air punch.

"Huh, I see." Midoriya said. As you looked over to the boy you couldn't help but notice the constant trembling of his body, he's been shaking this whole time... is he ok? Maybe he's sick or something.

"Not to get off topic or anything guys but Midoriya, I couldn't help but notice you shaking this entire time. Are you alright?" You pondered to the greenette

"Oh! Yeah I'm alright I've just been doing air sits during class. If I want to get stronger than I need to keep practicing" he grinned at you

"Woah, during class too?! That's extreme" Uraraka exclaimed

"A bit of a basic move huh Midoriya?" You teased lightly, causing him to go on a bit of a rant.

"Anyway, you never told us what agency you were thinking of joining (L/n)" Midoriya said after his fitness shpeel

"Oh right, I'm still deciding but I was thinking of joining on with Ryukyu... For reasons similar to Uraraka." You smiled faintly, almost embarrassed by your decision

"Woah you're going to sign on with one of the top 10 heros?!" Midoriya shouts, causing you to blush in embarrassment and cover your face with your hands.

"Yeah! She's really cool, and she seems like someone that really knows how to strengthen and aid the people she's around... andalsocausesheslikeoneofmyfavoriteheros..." you admit while mumbling then end of your sentence.

"Yeah her quirk is awesome! Wait, what did you say at the end? I couldn't quit hear you?" Uraraka asked

"She's- shesoneofmyfavoriteheros..."

"(L/n) there's nothing to be embarrassed about, just tell us what you said!" Midoriya laughed lightly

"It's just that... she's been one of my favorite hero's since I was a kid! I saw her name on my agency draft and I couldn't turn her down. She's just awesome!" You explained with a blush of admiration for the hero

"That's a totally reasonable thing to do (L/n)! Besides, I overheard Kaminari and Mineta were joining up with Mt. Lady, for not the most hero like reasons." Uraraka whispered with a dead-pan as Kaminari and Mineta turned around in shock at what she said.
