Skydancer: set in transformers armada, Skydancer was the only fully sized Cybertronian to travel with the Minicons when they left Cybertron to escape the war. When the ship crashed and her pod landed on earth, it remained buried for centuries before an earthquake unburied it and the scanner scanned both a new alt mode as well as a nearby human, allowing her to shift into one in order to blend in with the natives of the planet.
She spent many years travelling and trying to locate the Minicons until she ended up in Lincoln, Nebraska where she could sense several Minicons. Establishing herself as a teacher at the local school, Skydancer spends several years there until another earthquake allows entrance to the crashed ship and alerts Cybertron that it's been found.
The kids eventually learn that Skydancer is also a Cybertronian like all their new friends and that she is the estranged mate of Red Alert, both choosing to grieve the loss of the youngest sparkling Silverbolt and his team differently
Skyflare: set in Transformers Prime
Skyflare is the techno organic form of the city state Vos, having had her mind and spark transferred to a new body to save her life when her former one was bombed at the start of the war. Mated to Ultra Magnus, Skyflare is very old, very powerful and very over protective of her mate, but she also needs a visor to see due to damage to her optics.
A/n I'm not sure if I'd have her in the story from the start or have her arrive in season 3 with Magnus.
Lightning strike: is the head medic for the Decepticons and Knockout's Mentor. She originally joined the Decepticons because she believed in the ideals before both Megatron and the cause became twisted, now she stays to watch over Knockout. Choosing the Decepticons meant not only being on the opposing side to her mate, but also having to send their sparkling away for safekeeping
