Ashley Dixon:
A wife and mother, Ashley was also an army medic before the dead began to rise. Being part of the army meant she wasn't with her family when the dead started attacking the living, and was separated from others of her unit as they all scattered in different directions to avoid dying and Ashley ended up near a farm where the family kindly took her in and she offered whatever aid she could in exchange. Between helping the Greene family with their farm, Ashley began searching for her family, holding onto the belief her husband's skills as a hunter and tracker had kept him and their son alive.
When Otis arrived with an injured boy and said boy's father, Ashley will find herself reunited with her family
Charlie Grimes: Rick's younger sister, Charlie worked as a nurse in the same hospital her older brother was admitted to after being shot while on duty. After being forcefully removed from said hospital and taken to safety by Shane whom she now calls Deputy Dipshit, Charlie refused to talk him as she had wanted to remain with her brother, especially since she and Lori have never gotten along with each other and Charlie was more or less left on her own when they and several others made themselves a camp in a quarry outside Atlanta. Since her teen years, Charlie has taught herself natural remedies, not wanting to rely completely on modern medicine, something that has ended up serving her well now that the world has fallen and access to modern medicine is restricted if not near impossible to get a hold of. Since she tends to wander from camp in search of different plants and herbs needed for her herbal remedies, Charlie can usually be found in the company of the Dixon brothers. Merle took a shine to the little nurse everyone has started teasingly called Doc after she knocked him on his ass and managed to break his nose as a result, but she's most often found with Daryl whom helped keep her grounded as she came to terms with the loss of her brother, so she is often out on hunts with him, and because she's light on her feet. They also like to do things to freak out Shane who seems to think it's his right to dictate what Charlie does and who she spends time with, but they're flirting while partly to horrify Shane, is also genuine and Daryl is protective of their only medic, even teaching her to use a crossbow as guns would draw to much noise.
