Villain's Origins || A Twist in Time [Boku no Hero Academia Villain Au Book 1]

Deku's POV:

A few days passed and one morning, I wake up to find Toga straddling my lap on my bed. She had a perverted grin on her face and I instantly scream. "AHH!"

   In attempt to back away from her, I fall off my bed and hit my head on the corner of the bedside table. I groan, touching the back of my head to make sure I wasn't bleeding. Luckily, I wasn't.

"Ooh, are you bleeding? Can I taste it? I've been dying to get a taste of you~" I look at her like she's insane, which she is. Before I have to answer her insane comment, she's pulled away from me by Touya.

"Alright, back it up. We didn't come here to drink blood, we're here to tell him his mask order is ready." Touya smirks and hands me a box.

   My brows furrowed and I look up to see Tomura was also here, his arms crossed as he was leaning against the far wall. I shake my head in confusion. "Mask? What- mask are you guys talking about?"

   Toga giggles, sitting on my bed and crossing her legs. "Open the box and find out, silly~" I see the impatience in their eyes as they all seemed to be encouraging me to open the box.

   I hesitate for a moment before opening the box, my eyes widening at the mask inside. It looked similar to the mask I designed once for my hero costume but it was different. It was redesigned to look like sharp teeth on the sides with a part for breathing at the front section.

   Touya smiles, putting a hand on his hip. "What do you think, boss? Is this what you had in mind or what?" I look up in confusion. "It's what you asked for, Izumura."

   I realize that Toga doesn't know about my split personality yet. I'm grateful they seem to be helping me keep it a secret. I look down at the mask and take off the cheap medical one I was wearing. Even in my sleep, I couldn't let anyone see my face.

   Slowly, I put on the mask and it locks into place, startling me. "Woah- wow, this is kinda cool.. but I- can't take it off?!" I panic a little, the sound of my own voice startling me.

   Touya then starts to explain its functions to me. "Now that you've put it on, it's locked itself into place. It registers the first voice that spoke as its owner, which was you. You have to choose a command first by saying 'command' then whatever word you decide. It'll unlock once you've said that word."

"Command: Katsuki." The mask makes a slight beep and seems to register the command. My voice was distorted, making it sound darker in a way. The others look at me, probably wondering why I chose that as my command. "It's a name I would never speak without a reason. It felt fitting.."

   Tomura stares at me blankly for a few moments, seemingly lost in thought. When our eyes lock, he breaks his silence. "The League of Villains is under my command. Even so, I'm handing over part of that command to you. These two will help you with whatever you need from now on."

   My eyes widen and I look at the two villains. Touya smirks and Toga looked like an excited dog who had just been adopted. I couldn't tell what was going on in her mind at all.

"That's all I have to say. Now I'm out of here, all of you leave me alone until further notice.." With that, Tomura leaves. I can tell he had a lot on his mind ever since what happened the other day. I was worried, but not that much. After all, he was wearing the necklace I gave him to hold his family's remains. I smile under the mask.

   Toga gets closer to me and I flinch back. "What are you gonna do first, boss? You're gonna be a hero so we can break the hero system, aren't you? We'll do all the dirty work for you!"

"Even if you say that.. I don't have a task for you to do! I'm still figuring things out myself.." I think for a moment and realize something. "Wait a moment! How do you know that..?!"
