"I'm home.." i arrived home exhausted finding my parents strangely silent with a smile on their faces. Sensing their mischievousness, I asked, "Um... is everything okay? You guys are quiet."

"Well, we have news for you, darling," my mom said slowly cutting a carrot.

"I see... So, uh... what's the news? Is it good or bad?"

*...silence...*

I noticed there is some bags at the side, I opened it and noticed its my clothes and stuffs. "Why are my things in here? Where are we going??"

"We're not going anywhere. Except you. You need to get out" my dad said, his tone flat and emotionless.

"Oh"

"You're giving us too much work," they said as they threw out my bag and my things. I was dumbfounded.

*I raise my eyebrows pretending to be surprised*

"I have signed the contract since you just turned 21. You're not our responsibility anymore, and we can't let you stay here forever."

"Why are you acting like you don't care?" My mom's voice rose sharp and accusing she didn't expect this kind of indifference from me

"I don't know?"

My mom was furious. With my nonchalant response. "Your nothing but a failure all you do is give us problem and-" she said as her voice were harsh

"Okay.. so I am a failure I know that you've planned this all along haven't you? To get rid of me. I've known that for years mom! You don't care about me, you and dad don't care. I literally tried my hardest making you proud of me. But I guess this is my free time to be gone into this messed up family."

"What?" Her mom said surprised
I didn't said we weren't proud of you its just you didn't do good enough" my mom spoke in a manipulative way

I scoff "fine" I said as I was acting like i didn't care with a mixture of anger and hurt but smiles anyway
I grabbed the things with me walking towards the door "I'll leave. but don't think for a second that I'm going to forget this. I'll never forget"

"Oh- before I leave" *I stopped and glanced back at them*

don't come crying or beg to me when I get successful" *I smiled at them throwing the fake birth certificate papers on them which made them gasp as i left waving a goodbye*

The parents are speechless, like they seen a ghost. A mix of annoyed also.
