"Hey miss!"

Suddenly I heard a random man calling out for me

I turned around to look who's calling Me and saw a man from the shop waving at me I looked left and right wondering who's he's calling to

"Um...me?" I spoke, my voice hesitated unsure If he's talking to me confused

"Yes! You seem unfamiliar...are you new here?" He asked in curiosity rubbing his chin

"Y-yes I'm new here!" I said nervously

"Oh! welcome to thneedville Young lady!" He said enthusiastically
"What's your name?"

"Thank you sir my name is y/n!" I smiled as I looked at his items
"what are you selling?"

A man raised his eyebrow "Well I sell a finest hair clips! And accessories! They are pretty cheap" he glanced at my messy hair and smiled "and I suppose that you need one"

"Oh-" I touched my hair realizing that it's messy, my face flushed with embarrassment and quickly fixing it but...it didn't work it got even messier
*sigh* "Okay so how much is it?"

A man lits up his eyes with joy "that would be 5 cents miss!"

"I'll take this one please!" I said choosing the most captivating hairclip with a ribbon on it

"Excellent choice! I must say that they are pretty quite charming" he winks as he whispers

"They do!" I nodded With agreement examining the hair clip "it's perfect.. thank you.."I said, a smile spreading across my face and paid him

He laughs and said "Your welcome!, and What brings you here?"

"Well I was just looking for a new place to stay-" I chuckled

"I'm hoping to find a job soon
Since its my first time living on my own"

Oh!! You've come to the right place!! It's a great way to start a new life!"

Really.? I said with the hopeful expression

"Yes! Come I'll show you around"

I nodded and looked around the colorful place I was in awe with beauty

Y/n is amused she wasn't familiar with this place or she isn't used to live by herself independently atleast she's learning from it and hopes that things will go well this time... She knew that finding Thneedville isn't easy it takes alot of courage to do so,

a new life and a new beginning.

5 months later

It was 2 PM in the afternoon, and I was searching for a job that suited me. Despite my efforts to apply for jobs and interviews, things didn't go as planned. Due to my lower level of education, no one accepted me. However, I believed I could make the company more likeable, so I decided to work as a cleaner. It may be a messy job, but it's worth it, even though the salary is poor.

"This is going to be tough, but it's going to be okay, right? You got this, right? yes? Or no?" I muttered to myself, giving myself positive energy.

After finishing cleaning, I received money from the house owner. "Thank you, sir!"

"No problem, come back anytime soon!" the owner said as I saluted, pointing a finger at them as a sign of respect, and left. But then I realized I only got, uh, a token? I looked back and said, "Um... sir-" before I could say anything, the door was closed, and he was already gone. "Okay... haha maybe another time then," I chuckled sarcastically, "nevermind..."
