? MAPLE TREE ?

Jungkook stepped inside the fence observing the surrounding and the sudden nostalgia hit his senses.

Reliving the moments he spent here he stepped further inside and stood infront of the only maple tree standing tall and evergreen (or everorange maybe idk) .

He slowly put his palm on the tree and traced his finger on it while murmuring to himself "do you remember me Or did you also forgot me like him".

"You are still the same tall and filled with all these leaves" Kook said picking up a leaf from the ground.

"I still remember the moments we shared here along with him, our hide and seek, our sneak outs to come and play here even though we would be scolded later by our mums nothing mattered more than this place to us but than it all just got swapped up just like that, I became the only one visiting you but atleast you were here with me not like him" Kook said and unconsciously pouted while complaining about his friend who left him one day.

"I really missed you, I have always did as you are the only one who knows me  better than anyone, you know the things I have just kept deep in my heart, I don't know if I will get to meet him but again what am I gonna say when I meet him that I am mad at him for leaving me but also understand his situation as well, I wanna smack him hard for leaving me but i also want to just hug him like amalgamating our bodies, I wanna tell him how much I missed him and how much I want to hold him close, tell him everything about what has happened with me while we were away and know about him as well, I want him to meet taehyung he is----" Kook took a abrupt pause and looked at the tree.

"I haven't told you about tae right actually, he is my boss? Don't know how I should say that but he is my superior met him at the restaurant I used to work at for his new project and.................." So kook told about tae and his team to the tree which has been his childhood bestie other than his hyungie.

"And you know he is also here with me, I hope I could bring him here so that you can meet him as well trust you will also like his company, I really admire him a lot, but again he deserves to be admired" Kook was talking when his phone rang.

["Oh see its him" Kook said as he took the call which was from tae.

"Hello kook, where are you? It's already getting late".

"Oh hyung i will be on my way, why did something happen, are you okay" Kook asked.

"Yes I am good but just wanted to know about you as it's getting late and if you're far away than you should leave so that you could reach on time as the weather might get colder" Tae said and kook had that silly smile on his face as he listened to what tae said.

"Yes I will just leave did you had dinner yet"

"No let's eat once you are here"

"Ok"

"Btw tell me what you want to eat I will order so that we won't have to wait for too long"

"Anything is fine"

"Ok than I will order whatever I like also how much time will you take to come here"

"Around half an hour"

"Ok, be back soon and safe" And hence taekook ended their call]

Kook looked up at the tree whose branches swayed with winds as if cheering him and his lil happiness he felt with that simple talk with tae.

"I will be leaving day after tomorrow but i will be visiting you for one last time for sure before I leave and also thank you for being my friend"   Kook said and after taking a good look at the tree he went to fetch a cab to leave for hotel as tae was waiting for him.
