Training was done, it felt like it was cut off short. I'm guessing it's because of me. While everyone else is downstairs eating lunch, I'm in my room raging again.
I hated him. I hated this world. Just because I am an omega I have to act a certain way even if I am being treated like garbage but if I don't act properly I'll be treated worse. Aeon's a horrible leader.
This world is obviously not meant for me. I'm gonna go home. I got up and grabbed my school backpack. I went to my Dad's room and knocked.
"Come in." I opened the door to see him sitting on his desk with a book in his hand. He smiled when he saw it was me then stopped smiling and placed the book down when he noticed my school bag.
"I'm leaving. I'm going home. Can you take me to the portal?"
"What? Slow down. Why are you leaving?"
"I hate this place. I don't belong here. You're alpha leader doesn't like me. You see what he did to my throat." My throat was bruising already. "I wanna go home. Can you please take me, now?"
"Noah," My Father started, "Aeon's not used to -"
"I don't want to hear it, I just want to go home." I sighed, I was on the verge of a full breakdown.
"Noah," My father still seemed to be trying to calm me down. I didn't like that.
"Mom said you have a lot of money for me, can I have it now?"
"No Noah, I'll give it to you later when-"
I turned my back to him and headed towards the door. "Fine, don't give me the money and don't help me find the portal. I'll find it myself."
"The portal is closed!" My father yelled.
"You're lying."
"All the portals close three days before and after the full moon because the magic is too strong that it can reach your world."
"Why wouldn't you tell me this? I'm gonna lose my job!"
"I'm gonna give you the money, okay? I promise so just take a breath."
I sat down on the chair and put my face in my hands. This doesn't change the fact that I'm gonna lose my job and be stuck here for a few more days. My father pulled up another chair beside me.
"Tell me what happened between you and Aeon."
***
"Don't worry, Aeon would never allow anything like that to happen to you." My father said.
"Then why in the world would he say all that, huh?"
"Because you don't understand your blessings. You are lucky to be in a decent pack, some werewolves are crazy." He smiled at me. "Noah, you cannot disrespect the lead alpha by swearing at him. He has a whole pack to keep in line and if one person does not respect him, others will think they can get away with it too. Then he loses the pack and maybe even his life."
"What?"
"Someone else can challenge him for the pack and he could die in this challenge."
"Then this new person would become the leader right?"
"Yes. So do not swear at him anymore or else he will probably send you back to the other world. But he would never allow anything terrible to happen to you. He's actually against that. He's saved a lot of werewolves from abuse."
"Sometimes I just cannot help swearing. I just swear when I'm upset. Everyone swears, or at least where I'm from. It doesn't mean anything really."
"Well you have to learn to control yourself now."
