"Bring all the questions." I said leaning back bringing the mic with me
"Now the world knows you married Rihanna back in 2017 but sadly split at the beginning of 2019, what caused it?" Angela asked
"Life." I said simply
"I mean I wish we were still married but we have a great co-parent bond, it's just some times you rush into things thinking you have it all together and you don't." I said as I got collective hums
"She took off with her Fenty brand and I took off with music, I feel like we weren't as mature as we are now so it was a lot of arguments that shouldn't have happened. But in a sense things happen for a reason we split on good terms though it's no bad blood she the homie." I said chuckling at the end
"You mentioned how you wished you guys were more mature, do you ever wish y'all were still together?" The other hosted asked
"Sometimes I would love for my son to experience a 2 parent household, but life is life. And life be lifing." I said making everybody laugh
"We not gone get you in trouble now are we?" Angela asked
"Nah we good."

"Nah we good, fuck that supposed to mean nigga?" Robyn asked
You probably wondering how I got here. I did an interview on Lip Service with Angela Yee, and boy was that a mistake. Me and Robyn, well Robyn have been on the phone for 1 whole hour about the things I said.
"Cause I thought I was good." I said driving
"You're not good nigga, I thought we said we wouldn't mention eachother in interviews?" She said forehead all in the camera
"Technically."
"Miss me with that bullshit." She said knowing I was finna be a smartass
"And then wanna be together??" She said forehead just scrunched up
"I never said that I said sometimes for the sake of Adaii." I said turning near his school
"Same difference, Y/n we have had this conversation multiple times you always say no." She said
"Because at those times we talked I didn't see a difference." I said parking the car
"You came to me with the divorce papers not the other way around,you know I was always willing to grow with you." She said now showing her face it looks like she was on set for something
"I'm aware." I said drinking some water it's out asf in Atl boy
"And put on a fucking shirt." She said mugging
"I'm in a tented car." I said brushing her off
"When you coming back to Atlanta?" I asked
"I don't know yet." She said rolling her eyes
"I already know you tell your son everything." I said
"So why ask." She said mugging
"Cause I wanted to." I said as Adaii opened the door
"Hey da." He said getting in the front seat
"Wassup boy, how was your first practice?" I said doing our handshake
"They suck." He said making Robyn laugh and Adaii snatch the phone out of the cup holder
"Hey momma." He said smiling bright
"Hey baby, have your bags packed I fly in tomorrow." She said smiling
"Okay." He said still holding the phone
I can say we might have been childish when it came to a relationship, but about her motherhood Robyn does not play. You can't say his name good in a sentence with out her looking at you funny. Adaii will call her just to sit and not talk, and she doesn't care if she is in a meeting she'll answer and sit.
"Okay I have to go back on set but I'll call you before you go to sleep, Y/n I'll talk to you tomorrow." She said getting sassy when my name was brought up
"Okay love you momma." They said their goodbyes as I was still stuck on how mean she gets when it comes to me

"Bestieeee." Mel said as I opened the door
"Bestieeee." I said matching her energy and giving her a hug
"You know the grinch is taking her time." She said walking in
"Of course." I said rolling my eyes as Mel walked around
"Took long enough." I said walking away once Robyn reached the door
"Took long enough." She said mimicking my voice as she closed the door
"You wanna talk now?" I asked sitting at the bar
"It should be illegal how much liquor you have." She said grabbing the bottle of whiskey how cliché of her
"What do you wanna talk about?" I asked grabbing the bottle after she poured some
"Us." She said then took a sip
"We both never moved on, and it's clear as day that the love is still there." Robyn said continuing
"I mean yeah." I said
"So there shouldn't be a reason why we aren't working on things. I didn't even sign the divorce papers." She said
"I don't want to let us go." Robyn said holding my hand that was on the counter
"I don't want to either, but I don't want people in our business, that's one thing I never liked. I know it comes with the life but I just don't wanna have to go through that again." I said
"I agree. I apologize for letting the media and other people get in our relationship and our lives. I want to make this work, I don't need no bitches looking at my nigga." She said making me laugh because I knew exactly who she was talking about
"Sevyn is a work friend." I said
"Well that bitch was looking to hard at the release party." She said
"To say we wouldn't worry about each others personal life you sure are in mines." I said
"You should have know that was a lie." She said throwing the rest of the cup back
"You finna drive our son and you drinking?" I asked with raised eyebrows
"No, I'm about to fuck you and Adaii is going to spend time with his Aunty Mel." She said grabbing the bottle and smirking as she stood up
"Alright we are off to top golf." Mel said walking past as Adaii said his goodbyes smiling
"Be good." I said watching them walk to the car
"No y'all be good." Mel said back with a sly smile
Oh okay I see how it's about to be
I have been thinking about the many possibilities of Favorite Mistake because I don't know how to write another chapter tbh. Butttt, depending on the reactions (and ideas) I'll start writing so lmk what the deal is and I'll see if I can make sum shake.
