The Creeps

The whole group glanced around at each other suspiciously. Y/n took a moment to adjust Campi to lie closer to her body.

Finn cupped his jaw with a finger while his eyes gazed over each person. Then, he landed on someone.

"BMO!" He said, pointing directly at the little robot.

"Ahh!" They yelled in fear, thinking they were being accused.

"Use your ghost-detecting equipment to screen everyone."

BMO let out a small breath of relief before they took out an old-fashioned bulb to take some pictures. They started with LSP with a quick flash of light.

"I blinked my balls. My eyeballs." LSP corrected herself while rubbing her eyes from the flash.

BMO then moved on to Bubblegum who giggled at her picture being taken. Then, they moved on to Y/n. The girl pressed down her dress to get rid of any creases. She then tilted her head and crossed a leg while posing in a flaunting way.

After it was taken, she stopped posing before Gumball's photo was taken. He was just sitting still and straight like a board with a nervous grin.

Finally, Jake's photo was taken. He was blank-faced the entire time. BMO hummed suspiciously at him.

"What do you mean 'Hmmm'?" Jake questioned while crossing his arms.

BMO stepped back a little. "Nothing..." They said, their eyes narrowing. The others seemed to whisper amongst each other while glancing at Jake.

The little robot then put the photo piece away. "Processing... Data!" They said before the photos printed from their behind.

LSP grimaced a little. "Ew." She commented, her nose scrunching.

"Huh?" Finn raised a brow, not expecting it.

BMO picked up the photos and looked at each one. "So who's the ghost, BMO?" Gumball asked nervously.

"Oh. Um... I don't have a ghost-detecting equipment." They then slid some of the photo's away with a grin. "I just like taking nice pictures." They then raised a photo of Y/n. "Like this."

They proudly showed off the nice picture of Y/n for a moment before putting it away with the others.

Jake stood up from the stairs he was sitting on. "Let's find some candles. If the lights go out again, we'll be able to catch the murderer!"

Finn nodded with a hum. "Good idea! Jake and BMO, you check downstairs and we'll take this floor."

"Okay."

The two began to walk towards the basement door as Finn stared suspiciously at them.

"We got the other rooms," Y/n said, her arm wrapping around Gumball's arm.

"AHHH! Oh my crease! Oh my crease! Assemble! Reassemble! Come on you guys!"

Jake's screams could be heard from the basement as he ran up the stairs. From above, Finn and Bubblegum appeared from a room.

Finn noticed the lack of a person. "Where's BMO?" He asked.

"The ghost got 'em!" Jake's voice shook while he trembled.

"Don't you mean you got 'em-" He then picked Bubblegum up and threw her over the edge onto the couch below.

She rolled off of it before Finn jumped over the edge and landed on it. "Ghost!" He pointed at Jake accusingly.
