It was time for their first training session. The hotel had big outdoor sports areas so there was lots of space to do stuff. Before they got to any of that though, they had to do gym work.
"Come on Erin! Get those skinny arms pumping," Maisie teased.
"Oi! I'll use my skinny arms to cause some damage if you don't stop," she responded.
"Sounds like a threat."
"Watch your back Walsh."
"Okay sparklycat12."
All the girls cracked up.
"Shut up."
Maisie was quite good at the drills and that was all down to boxing.
"Jesus," Samara said as her friend was doing the drill with double the weight she was.
"Yeah don't mess with me," Maisie joked, fake flexing.
"You cried watching Inside Out I don't want to hear it," Samara said.
"Hey I only admitted that in a moment of weakness," she responded with a pout.
"Okay ginger."
Once they'd finished in the gym, they headed out to the grass to train.
It was a lot of fun but it was also hot and the girls were overheating.
"Make sure you have plenty of water," Marie told them.
An hour and a half later, training finished up. Maisie was just having a drink when she was struck by an impulse she had to follow. Liv was standing opposite her and Maisie pointed her bottle towards her, squeezing it and covering her in water.
"You bitch," Liv laughed, turning her bottle and squeezing back. They'd soon started up a water fight and had got everyone else involved as well.
"No, no," Erin warned as Maisie looked her way with a smirk. She then broke into a run, sprinting towards her. Erin began backing away.
"Don't you dare!"
Too late; Maisie had thrown the remaining water all over her back and got her absolutely dripping.
"You're an annoying git."
"Yeah but I'm your annoying git," she responded, wrapping her arms around her soaking girlfriend.
"Yeah I guess you are," Erin responded.
They then trudged inside while they dripped all over the floor.

It was the following evening and they were just chilling in their room. The previous day they'd watched the Lionesses match against Norway and had seen the girls win 8-0. It had been good fun and their joy carried into the following day as they trained, did a team meeting and then completed their schoolwork.
Erin was now sat reading a book while Maisie rested her head on her lap and fiddled with the drawstrings on her girlfriend's trousers. Erin was gently massaging Maisie's head with one hand and holding her book in the other.
"I'm bored," she whined.
"Shush I'm reading."
"That's so boring though."
"You're like a toddler," Erin giggled.
"Exactly. That's why you need to give me attention," Maisie said, moving her head up and blocking Erin's view of the pages.
"I'll give you some attention later," she laughed as she gently pushed her head down.
"But I want it now," she whined with a pout.
