Lucy and Keira were off to the World Cup. Keira had come to stay for a few days before she went while Lucy had gone to stay with her family.
It had been nice to see her and Maisie was upset when she left.
Luckily her upset didn't last for long as she was off on England camp.
They were going to be at St George's Park with games against the Netherlands and Bulgaria.
Maisie was very excited and she couldn't wait to get there and see her friends. She didn't stop talking the entire way over and her happiness was very clear.
They pulled up outside and Tracy helped her get everything out the boot before taking it inside.
"Behave yourself and have fun," she said.
"I will. I love you."
"I love you too."
Maisie then skipped her way over to Liv and Samara and the three of them hopped straight into loud chatting.
They were always so excitable around each other and they had lots to talk about.
When Erin arrived, the first thing she heard was her girlfriend's laughter. It was the nicest sound ever and she instantly smiled as she heard it.
After saying goodbye to her mum, she went and chatted to Eleanor until Marie called their attention to her.
She gave her usual welcome speech before telling them to go up to their rooms and then to come down for dinner at 6.
Maisie had her usual chat with Marie before she took her girlfriend's hand and they walked up to their room.
Even though they messaged every single day and saw each other regularly, they still had hundreds of things to talk about.
"Did you see that guy who taxidermized his cat and then attached it to a drone?"
"What? No. That's disgusting," Erin said.
"Yeah I know. He just had this dead cat zooming around the sky."
"Imagine just going for a walk and some cat starts flying towards you. I'd die."
"Like the cat."
"Mais!" Erin laughed.
"What? It's true."
After Erin had unpacked and Maisie had made a mess, they headed down to get some dinner.
Erin was feeling a bit nervous at the prospect of eating but Maisie took her hand and stroked her thumb gently against the back of her palm.
"I'm here."
Usually the pair would sit with their different friends to have meals but today Maisie decided that she'd stay with Erin.
"No you don't have to," Erin said when she told her.
"I know I don't but I want to."
They went up to get their food and Maisie found Liv and Samara.
"I'm gonna sit with Erin tonight because she ain't feeling good," she told them.
"Okay no worries," Liv said.
"We'll have some peace now," Samara laughed.
"The only way you'll have peace is if you staple your mouth shut," Maisie retorted.
"Oooo burned," Liv said with a laugh.
"You're such a dick," Samara told her.
"I try my best."
