Side story

Jeong Hyeok and Seri are both shocked when she saw Ji Woo and Dan arguing at the hall. They hold each other's hair. "Let go!" Ji Woo said. "Yah! You must let go first! I'm Jeong Hyeok's bestfriend the president of this company. " Dan said. "And I'm Seri's bestfriend the future wife of President Ri..." Ji Wok shouted.

All the employees are watching them while. Gwa Beom try to stop them and stand between them but the two ignoring him.

"Ms. Kang and Ms. Seo what is this?" Jeong Hyeok asked. The two both release each other's hair and look at them. "This girl is the reason why you didn't receive Seri's text message last time." Ji Woo said. Seri and Jeong Hyeok look at to Dan. "Is that true, Dan?" Jeong Hyeok said. Dan couldn't speak. "Eireen saw her reject a call from your phone and she also saw her deleting some message on your phone." Ji Woo said. Jeong Hyeok frowned as he look at to his bestfriend. Seri never get startled because she already knew Dan's personality. Seri let out a deep sigh. "It's not.. They're all lying. Eireen and Ji Woo are both friends of that girl!so I think they all planned this maybe because she's got jealous." Dan said.

Jeong is about to speak when Seri speak. "You never change, Dan... You always tell lies and playing victim." Seri said."I'm not, Seri!" Dan said. "Yes, you are! Since our college days you always been like that. The cheating incident, and in your party, remember?." Seri said. "You try to sell me in one of your friends and telling him that I need someone to be the sponsor to support my study." She added. Jeong Hyeok got shocked to hear it. Seri never spill anything to him. Seri look to Jeong Hyeok. "I don't care if your going to believe her just like before, Babe. But one thing is for sure, Ji woo and Eireen will never create fake stories just like someone that I know." Seri said. She gave her a death glared and walk passed through Dan and intently bumped her. Jeong Hyeok let out a deep sigh as he couldn't believe that Dan treats his girlfriend like that. "let's talk to my office, Ms. Seo." Jeong Hyeok said in his serious bariton voice.

Seri try to calm herself as she went inside on her office. "Gosh... That girl always ruining my mood. She's so desperate..." She said. Her phone beep and she open it to read the message.

'You really file a restraining order against me, you think you can avoid me in that way,  Yoon Seri?

Seri gulped and feel anxious when she read it and she immediately turned off her phone and rest her head on her swivel chair.

Present days

Dan throw all her stuff on her office. She is mad in Jeong Hyeok's decision. He fired her because of that incident and Jeong Hyeok was disappointed on her on how she treated Seri during their college days.

Flashback

"Why you need to do thay, Dan? You're my bestfriend and Seri is my girlfriend..." He said. "You really didn't know why? It's because of you." Dan said. "I like you ever since but you never stares at me like how you stares at her since that girl transferred on our school." She cried. "I love you... I love you more than friends but Seri... Steal you from me." She said.

Jeong Hyeok look at her. "But you already know how much I love her. And you must respect my feelings and my relationship with her." He said. "I feel so disappointed and mad at you for treating her like what you did. For making me believe in all your lies and now, you put her more in danger if I'm not appear on that day at the hospital." He said. Dan stand infront of him. "Then how about my feelings? How about me?" She said. Jeong Hyeok let out a deep sigh. "If you can accept Seri as part of my life, I don't think we can still be friends." He said. "I do acknowledge your feelings but Dan, Seri is my everything and I feel so hurt to know that she suffered alone back then and it's because of you, my bestfriend." He said.
