It's the next day and you are all at school, walking down the staircase on your way to lunch.
Aiden and Ashlyn are trailing along in the back together, but their both facing in opposite directions. They've been acting weird all morning.
You assumed it was about the fact that they were hugging on the roof last night but Ash refused to neither confirm nor deny. She wouldn't even give you context on the hug.
"I'm gonna say something to them," Tyler whispers to you and Taylor.
You both immediately shake your heads in disapproval.
"Bad idea," you whisper back, but he stops and turns to them before your words regester in his brain.
"You guys are getting on my nerves." he says bluntly, crossing his arms.
You click your tongue and look at Taylor who is rolling her eyes at her clearly less emotionally mature twin.
"How are we supposed to 'celebrate' when you're ruining the good mood with your awkwardness?"
Taylor deadpans at her brother.
She decides to cut in before he can say another stupid thing.
"..What Tyler means to say is that you both seem a bit tense, there's about 10 minutes before class. How about you guys talk things out and we'll go grab some snacks?"
Everyone agrees to this and you walk off with the others, leaving Aiden and Ashlyn alone on the staircase.
