"I'm sorry," Aiden's mum, Jessica, mumbles as she pinches her nose, "You're trying to say that all of our kids are going to another dimension every night? Full of.. demons and monsters..??"
You can tell by her tone of voice that she's not even a little convinced on the matter.
"Please understand if I'm a little skeptical, without adequate reason, to believe you."
Emma sighs, ".. But we did all say we were seeing things lately. It's not completely unbelievable is it?"
"Yes but stories told by a campfire and reality are two different things," Aiden's dad bites back. He's really starting to piss you off but you sort of get where he's coming from so you decide not to say anything.
"I agree that the coincidence was a bit weird" Mary, Logan's grandmother chimes in, "But, I'm not sure if it's enough to believe something like that."
Taylor has been silent so far throughout out the whole conversation. All the parents, except Emma and you dad, are sitting down and the rest of you are standing around them. They haven't been taking it well, and you can tell by the way she clenches the bottle of water in her hand that it's been taking everything in her to not start yelling right now.
".. White eyes," the brunette whispers. All heads turn to her.
"Human build.." she says, this time a little louder, "pitch black, disturbing smile? That's what you guys have been seeing right?"
Aiden's mum inhales a sharp breath, ".. How did you-"
Taylor cuts her off, "-Those.. things and that place.. are trying to take my brother from me."
