Chapter 17 | Internships

"Haha, that's so sweet! Thank you Hado Senpai-"

"Oh no please, just call me Nejire! Cmon! I'm sure you're here for your internship so let's go! I'll take you to meet Ryukyu myself!" The girl exclaimed excitedly as she grabbed your hand and began to drag you through the agency.

Once you had arrived, you had to hold back the urge to complete fan girl in front of one of, if not your favorite, hero's. You stood behind Nejire as she hummed and smiled at her mentor,

"Ah, Nejire-Chan how can I help you?" Ryukyu began to question your upperclassman who began to squeal in excitement,

"Ryukyu I have some awesome news!" The girl stepped to the side and held her hands out to present you to one of the top hero's, "Tadaaaa~ Your new intern is here! Straight from U.A!"

At the sight of you Ryukyu's eyes perked up as she smiled at you and stood from her seat.

"Oh, where are my manners! Welcome to the Ryukyu Agency Miss (L/n)!" The pro hero rounded the table to shake your hand with another warm smile.

"It's a pleasure to be here Miss, I'm so honored to be here and truly grateful for your offer!" You bowed slightly to the hero who only chuckled at your politeness.

"I have to say, you put on quite an impressive performance during the sports festival, I see a lot of potential in you. You also just so happen to have a similar quirk the Nejire's over here so I figured you could work together some." The dragon hero explained.

You looked to Nejire with a hint of shock as she smiled at you. "Mhm! We both have energy storing and release type quirks! Ryukyu mentioned it to me after she watched the festival and I thought that was sooooooo awesome!"

You looked back to the pro as she continued, "I see a great hero in you and I want to help build on the already amazing power you have." She said with confidence

You began to blush at her words of praise, I can't believe THE Ryukyu is actually complementing me! Omg don't freak out don't freak out!! You smiled at her and began to thank her.

"Alright then let's get started, we can hit the training gym and test the waters of what you can do." With that she smiled and asked Nejire to bring you to a room to change. Once you were done, you stepped outside to where the periwinkle haired girl was waiting. She looked at you and gasped at your suit.

"WOW, wow, wow! You look so awesome (Y/n)! Oh! Is it ok if I call you that! Oh! And you have cute little antennas like me! Oh by the way, we should get back to Ryukyu, C'mon!" She said excitedly and once again dragged you to the hero's office.
