"Best Part" Reo Mikage x reader

It's now in the morning and the shop just opened. The speakers are now playing At My Worst by Pink Sweats background music.

"What a nice vibe to start the day." You did some light stretching as you twisted your upper body loud cracks can be heard.

"You're getting old" Aoi laughed as she sat in her usual spot. "Shut up" you stated and put your apron on.

"What do you guys want?" You asked Felic and Aoi. "I'll have a latte" Aoi answered enthusiastically. "I'd like to have green tea please" Felic answered.

While preparing their drinks the door opened. "Good morning Reo" Felic and Aoi said at the same time and Reo greeted back.

"Reo, do you want anything?" You placed Aoi's drink in front of her and Felic approached the table and sat down with Aoi.

"Americano" Reo replied and sat down beside Felic. You smiled and prepared his drink. It has been a daily routine for you to provide free drinks to your staff since the opening of the shop.

"Do you like the music?" You asked him as you placed his drink in front of him. "It's ok" he replied.

"You need to be more enthusiastic or otherwise you'll get fired~" Aoi teased. You just chuckled and disagreed with her.

Reo hasn't been opened to anyone since he got here and it kinda makes you a bit down but you and Felic always included him in interactions.

"Ne, Reo-san why did you start working here?" Aoi asked as she sipped her latte both you and Felic froze and the music coincidentally stopped in the most awkward way possible.

The three of you made a theory of how Reo Mikage and this Reo are one person there's just so much evidence.

Reo took a moment to respond looking down at his coffee.

You waved your hand "It's ok if you down want to"

"I want to live a peaceful life in the rural area" he stated and sipped his cup. He didn't answer offensively or bluntly there was a big of sadness in his voice you gently sip your coffee.

With that a loud beat was heard the music magically played again with the three jumping up in their seat and you burning your with the sudden beat of the speaker it is currently playing the loud intro of Act My Age by One Direction.

Aoi and Felic laughed their asses off as you have teary eyes but still laughed with them as you probably looked dumb when you reacted. Touching your stomach that was hurting from the laughter your eyes glanced at Reo who was facing the other way shaking a bit with his hand covering his mouth trying his best to stop himself from laughing.

"Don't try to hide Reo" You yell. He removed his hand and faced you. He chuckled.

"He's laughing and looks like he's having fun." Your thoughts suddenly were interrupted by Reo.

"You looked kinda funny" Reo smiled.

Aoi and Felic laughed again and agreed with him. "What's that supposed to mean?!" You huffed and turned around to clean their cups.

"I don't mean it in a bad way" He stated getting up from his seat to start his work. You playfully rolled your eyes and Felic also went to the door to wait for customers and Aoi left the caffe to go to school.
