That morning Chinami woke up feeling rather good. The day before had been her first day at UA and in her opinion had gone pretty well. She'd aced the quirk assessment test and even made a new friend. Today she was planning on finding out more about Midoriya and his quirk and to do that she'd have to talk to Mr explosive. She hadn't gotten his name yet.

She put on her uniform and fed Cosmo his breakfast, giving him a few pets before locking up and making her way to the bus stop. The ride to school was quick so she was there in no time. Chinami made her way through the building until she came face to face with the giant door of her classroom, opening it and stepping in. It was still before class time so instead of going to her own seat she walked over to Kyouka who was sat listening to music.

"Hey Kyo!" She chirped happily, sitting on her desk facing out the window. Said girl smiled up at her as she took off her headphones.

"Sup Nami. You good?" She asked casually, leaning back in her seat.

"Yep! Really energised for some reason. I've got like loads of energy you know? It's like there's a million different things going on inside me that have me feeling like some super charged battery or something, yeah?" She rambled quickly, swinging her legs above the ground. Kyouka simply nodded and laughed at her friend's usual hyperactiveness, used to her behaviour and incisive rambling. Others however, weren't used to it. One person for example was the fiery blonde sat at the desk next to Kyouka's.

"God you talk fucking loads." Groaned the boy, shutting Chinami up instantly. He lifted his head to face the girl next to him, his face contoured into a sour expression.

"Uh, sorry?" She said, voice showing no sign of apology. He only clicked his tongue in response, turning away once more.

"Anyway, Kyo, last night I was thinking about something and I want your opinion." Her attention snapping back to the girl beside her. She nodded, a sign for Chinami to continue.

"There's something weird about that Midoriya kid and his quirk, I just know it!" This peaked the interest of both Kyouka and the boy next to them who tilted his head more in their direction, listening in.

"It just doesn't make sense. He's got this mad powerful quirk that his body just isn't suited for. It's strange, you'd think he'd at least have trained it a bit to be able to withstand it more but no, his bones just straight up break!" She said exasperatedly, hands flailing around the place as she explained her thoughts. Kyouka hummed in response, putting her head down to think.

"I don't know Nami, I think you're just reading into things. He seems like a weak kid, probably didn't have the time to train. You're just lucky to have had hero parents." She finally responded, crossing her arms. Chinami nodded her head, but she still couldn't help thinking something else was going on here.

"Yeah maybe but still. Something's up with him, whether it's to do with his quirk or not. The other kid yesterday, with that powerful quirk, he seemed to know him and he was shocked about something!" Chinami explained. The other girl only rolled her eyes, telling her that she was just overthinking things. They both continued talking for a bit until Aizawa came in for homeroom and Chinami had to go back to her own seat. However to the left of the two girls one boy had been thinking about her words.

'So she sees it too, that something weird is going on with that fucker Deku.' Bakugou thought to himself. He'd been thinking about Deku's sudden quirk recently, where and how he'd gotten it and other random things. For a starter even if he was a late bloomer, it didn't make sense. Inko's quirk was levitation and from what he remembered Deku's dad could breathe fire. Neither explained this mad power strengthening quirk. This random girl saw it too, how weird it all was. Had noticed his own surprise as well and taken that into consideration. If that was the case he just might have to talk to her about it. Maybe she could help him figure out the crap going on with Deku. Although he'd rather do it alone than have to speak to someone first.
