A/N: A nice little picture of Soriks in his new WD/DD body. Enjoy!

[Uzi's POV]
"That doesn't look good," Soriks pointed out as I typed madly into my computer, hooking up my own uplink as quickly as possible.
"No kidding, it was supposed to put them into a lockdown phase, not completely wipe their brains!" I exclaimed, looking to the little, golden bug that had been with me since the camp. It didn't really offer much other than displaying comments for me, without this 'Cabin Fever Labs', it wasn't a great lead.
After the whole zombie-rampage issue with Soriks, he was back to his regular self, or, new-self. He even, somehow, convinced V to finally accept her part of the bargain, so I fired up the VHS tape N had grabbed at camp that would give me all the know-how to take them offline to do some memory fishing. Simple, easy, and far less fire-hazard inducing.
Seeing as my only true successful mind-dive was with Kovik, and by extension, to myself. And V wouldn't let me touch that thick skull of hers otherwise.
That was the original plan.
Looking back to my floor, V and N were out cold, that's good, that's the whole point of the uplink! But now, now we've got some random program trying to erase their memories entirely, something, or someone, is screwing with us!
~I cannot ascertain the cause of the rogue program, only that it may be related to Absolute Solver, what we need to do is restore their memories before they are tampered with, that will disable the malware~ Kovik instructed, running his own simulations, two bars next to N and V's names, indicating how long they had before 100% loss of memory, and a subsequent reboot.
No pressure.
"Doesn't help that N keeps dodging all my freakin' warnings and hints! Augh, just go to the basement!!" I threw my hands at the visual feed coming from his own eyes, and him doing everything in his power to avoid them!
"This is curious though," Soriks leaned against my table, staring at the screen. "Both he and V used to be workers, does that mean something turned them into disassembly drones?"
~Absolute Solver is likely the culprit~ Kovik concurred, earning a chitter from Soriks, must be an Eliksni thing.
"I'm heading in, finally have a good entrance, now I can get this stupid, adorable idiot back on track," I slapped the same uplink node to my head, taking a sip of oil. But I paused to look back at the hybrid who leaned against the wall by the door. I gave him a concerned look. "Watch out for them."
He nodded once. "You have my word, do your part and free them of this affliction." With that, he drew both blades, popping them out of his sockets to grab with both hands. That made me feel a little better.
"Thanks, I'll still be able to hear, but this just helps me focus up," Better than splitting my attention.
Leaning back into my chair, I got to work, letting my feed filter through to an entirely new world.

While not the most amazing of entries, a crow's body is still fairly handy as I practically burning Solver's symbol through its eye socket, taking control as I adjusted to being in this digital space. Thing with diving into a person's head, I can still hear what's going on IRL, and logout whenever, so I wasn't completely useless.
