It's a Game of Life! ?

Chapter 11

   When the sun began to set they all parted ways to head home having enjoyed their time together. But what no one noticed was that someone was watching them for a long time. Especially Dash and Soarin with gritted teeth but it eventually turned into a wicked smile.

"When are we going to tell them? Whenever it is it should be sooner rather than later"

"I know but now's not the time. We need to wait a bit longer"

 In the middle of the night Soarin tossed and turned in his bed. He couldn't sleep. He had a feeling something big was going to happen in the near future. He was not sure if it would be for the better or worse but he could feel it in his gut that something life changing was gonna happen. After a while he managed to fall asleep thinking about a certain rainbow- haired girl who means the world to him and how he was going to spend his stay at Canterlot with her.

The next day the friends met up at the school. Everyone was there except our favorite Rainbow haired girl.

"Has anyone seen Dash?" Asked Lightning Streak.

"Knowing her she probably lost track of time" came a reply from Sunset.

"You mean overslept," corrected Spitfire with a chuckle. Just then Rainbow ran over to them panting heavily. "Sorry guys I kinda overslept"

This made everyone burst out laughing.

"Same old Dashie, you never change do you?" Fleet asked, shaking her head chuckling, "Where's the fun in that?" came a reply making the group laugh again. They were so caught up in their conversation that they didn't notice the time. Everyone got startled by the bell and ran to their classes as fast as they could. They arrived just as Miss Cherilee entered their class since they had the same temporary home room. 

"You're all late. Care to explain?" 

Everyone stared at her with a sheepish look making her sigh and shake her head

"I'll leave you children off the hook now but do not repeat again again. Is that understood?"

"Yes Miss. Cherilee" they nodded gratefully and hurried to their respective seats.

"As Principal Celestia already told the students from Cloudsdale high can pick a club you would like to join. If you are willing please fill this form and hand it over to me tomorrow."

   She distributed the forms and started teaching the lesson. Most of the students were focusing on not falling asleep rather than the lesson except a few. When the bell rang everyone basically ran out the classroom, the first one to go was Dash. 

 Everyone who had a different class said goodbye and parted ways. It was now the biology period for Rainbow. Her friends who are in that class are Soarin, Fluttershy, Fleetfoot, Blaze, Fire. 

"Okay class since we have some new students we will be picking new temporary lab partners. I'll give you all 5 minutes to find your partner and settle in." 

  All the students moved in a hustle to find their partners and take their places. The partners were Fluttershy and Fleet, Blaze and Fire leaving Soar with Rainbow. It felt like everyone was doing that on purpose but they didn't give much thought. The lesson went well except Rainbow making some mishaps but she had Soarin to guide her. It felt pretty easy. 

When lunch arrived everyone met up at the cafeteria sharing what happened in class and talking about random things. Then the main 7 felt the same strange feeling course through them. They looked at each other concerned but the others had no idea what's going on. Dash suddenly caught Lightning Dust giving her an evil smirk which made the hair on her neck stand up.

  They shook off the feeling and continued on with their day. The rest of the day went by in blur.

As everyone said their goodbyes for the day, Rainbow still felt uneasy about the look Dust gave her. 

"She's planning something and I'm gonna find out just what it is"
