Chapter Sixteen

"Just draw with like a normal piece of chalk, the only difference is it's magical and invisible." Blair said as she grabbed her sword that she had back in the Enchanted Forest, she never realized that Rumple kept it till she actually needed it.

"Missed a spot." Neal said.

"You're hilarious." Emma deadpanned.

"I didn't know you were magical." Neal said.

"Oh, my. Are you being judgy about this?" Emma said holding up the chalk. "Cause you're not allowed to have opinions about surprises. Mr. Son-of-Rumplestiltskin." Emma said going back to drawing with the chalk.

"Oh."

"What, oh." Emma asked.

"I didn't man for Tamara to be a surprise." Neal said.

"You think I care that a guy I dated a decade ago is engaged?" Emma questioned.

"We're all clear outside." David said coming and feeling the tense air. "Everything okay?" Emma nodded.

"Blair you're picking your nails again, you okay?" David asked.

"I'm not your kid David you don't need to worry about me, I'm fine." Blair was lying of course, but no one needed to know that, but Neal could he just didn't say anything and they all headed back to check on Rumple. Rumple told Emma she needed to use her magic, but it wasn't working.

"Stop thinking! Conjuring magic is not an intellectual endeavor. It's emotion. You must ask yourself, 'Why am I doing this?'  'Who am I protecting?' Feel it." Rumple told her, and she turned around, Blair gave a small smile and held out her hand. "I'll guide you."

Emma took her hand and the two girls closed their eyes and they both activated the chalk.

"Oh, yeah, you feel it?" Rumple asked her.

"Yeah, I think I did." She said with excitement.

"Good girl, very good girl." He said as he laid back down.

Blair was sitting next to Rumple when the shop began to shake, and David came in. "It's them. Regina and Cora, they're here." He said handing Emma a sword.

They were able to get in using there magic together but everyone was prepared to fight.

"Regina, think about what you are doing." Emma tried to talk to her.

"Don't talk to me." Regina summoned a fire ball by David deflected it with his sword and Emma shoved him out and closed the door locking him out, and shoved Emma away. Neal went for Cora but when she used magic to teleport herself away she dropped Rumple's dagger and Emma used that as a distraction to grab Regina and hold a dagger to her throat.

"What's it gonna be" Neal asked.

"Mother?" Regina called.

"Choose wisely." Neal said. But Cora used her magic to grab the dagger and Emma pushed Regina into her making them both fall throught the display cases.

"Fall back to Gold. I have the chalk." Emma said and they both ran to the back wile Emma started to draw with the chalk and then activated it. They all waited but it was definitely taking longer with only one person trying to undo it.
