~Luz's Pov~

We arrived at home and I was really nervous to face Amity. I gulped as we walked inside and saw Amity sitting on the couch. She looked at us and asked:"Did you find something?","Yep, it's right here." Eda replied and held the bag up with our suits. I asked:"Amity, can we talk?","Sure." Amity replied and we walked upstairs to my room. I closed the door and Amity asked:"So, what do you wanna talk about?","About Grom.","Oh, okay.","We wanted to go as friends and I was wondering...you know...","Yeah?","If you want to go with me as...more than friends. Like an actual date.","Oh...","I-I mean I get if you don-"No!" Amity said loudly and giggled awkwardly. She then said:"No, I would really like if we go to Grom like that.","Great." I said and scratched the back of my head. I then said:"To be honest, this pretty exciting. I never did something like this before.","I know, me neither.","Okay, good night then.","Good night to you too." Amity said with a big smile. I walked out and once I closed the door, I heard Amity letting out a squeal of excitment. I smiled as I walked downstairs. Eda asked:"Why the big smile?","Oh, nothing.","Really?","Yes, nothing." I replied and felt my cheeks getting warmer. Eda looked at me with a smug smile and said:"Anyways, I'll go to bed now. Good night.","Night." I said and Eda walked to her room. I got changed and brushed my teeth in the bathroom. I laid down on the couch and tried to sleep, but I wasn't able to. After several hours, I finally managed to sleep.

I woke up the next morning and yawned loudly. I stood up and went to the kitchen like always. Amity was prepearing breakfast like always and said:"Good morning Luz.", with rosy cheeks. I said:"Morning.","I already made a coffee for you.","Thanks.","Didn't you sleep good? You look tired?","Yeah, it took some time for me to sleep.","Oh, I'm sorry to hear this." Amity said as I sat down. I took a sip from the coffee and asked:"Where are Eda and King?","They already had breakfast. Eda took King to a doctor because he threw up and didn't feel so well.","Oh, fuck. Why didn't you wake me up?","Well, you looked so cut-I mean so peaceful while sleeping. I didn't wanna interrupt that." Amity replied with a smirk. I chuckled and asked:"So, you watched me sleeping? You little creep.","It wasn't like that!" Amity shouted and her face turned red like a tomato. I chuckled again and said:"Chill, I was just joking.","I know." Amity said and sat down next to me with two plates with pancakes. I asked:"You haven't eaten breakfast yet?","No, I wanted to eat with you.","Oh, okay.","Yeah.","And when are we going to marry, Honey?","Luz! I just calmed down!" Amity shouted and covered her face with her hands. I pulled her in a hug and said:"Oh, I'm sorry. Of course I would never marry you.","What?" Amity asked, her face was priceless until a tear ran down her right cheek. I said:"Fuck, sorry. I didn't mean that way. I-I...I was just fucking around.", and pulled her in a hug again. I said:"I'm so sorry, I didn't wanna upset you.","It's...it's okay." Amity said, I let her go and wiped the tears away. I asked:"You're sure?","Mhm.","You know, I never thought about marrying anyone, I haven't even finished high school yet.","That's understandable, I didn't know why I reacted like that." Amity said, she was clearly lying. I decided to not tell her that I knew she had a crush on me, at least not now. I said:"Anyways, I think we should eat now. I'm starving.","You're always hungry aren't you?","Yep." I replied and we both laughed. We ate our breakfast and I went to the bathroom to shower. After showering, I got dressed and walked downstairs again. I went to the kitchen once again, Amity was cleaning our dishes. I sat down at the table again, I asked:"Hey, you would like doing something?","Do you have anything in mind?","I dunno, maybe watching a movie in cinema?","Sounds good.","Great, let's go." I said as I stood up and grabbed Amity's hand. I dragged Amity outside and to the cinema. She turned into a tomato again, I thought it was kinda cute. I even giggled a bit.

We arrived at the cinema and Amity asked:"So, what movie are we going to watch?","Hm, how about this one? Beetlepotion, that sounds interesting.","Yes, let's watch this movie." Amity replied and we bought tickets. We walked to the cinema hall and I opened the door, I said:"After you.","Oh, what a gentleman." Amity said and giggled. We walked to our seats and sat down. I was relieved because we made it just in time. The movie started and we had fun time. After like 45 minutes, I felt something on my shoulder. I turned around and saw Amity's head resting on my shoulder. I whispered:"So cute.","Hm?","Nothing, go back to sleep." I whispered. She closed her eyes again and continued to sleep. She slept through the rest of the movie, but I met her sleep. As for me, I really enjoyed the movie. When it was over, I slightly shook Amity and said:"Come on Amity, the movie is over.","What?","You slept through the entire movie.","Really?","Yup." I replied as Amity lifted her head. We stood up and left the cinema. On our way back, Amity said:"I can't believe that I slept through the movie.","Me neither, you really missed out.","Then why didn't you wake me up?","You just looked really cute and I decided to not disturb that.","Oh...","Aside from that, I accidently woke you up.","Right, now I remember.","Yeah, you looked like a sleepy kitten." I said and chuckled. Amity blushed again and looked away. We arrived back home and spent the rest of the day we spent with dancing as I needed more practicing. The weekend was over fastly and today would be the day were the Grom Queen was announced.
