~Chapter 64~

It was probably not the very first time he was going to see Hyunjin fighting but.......now Hyunjin wasn't anyone but his own husband, that made him nervous at the moment. He watched the alpha change into his boxing shorts and wear gears, Hyunjin kept teasing his husband from time to time. He could sense his omega was nervous and it was totally understandable how caring Felix seemed.

Hyunjin walked closer to Felix meeting with his nervous gaze, he smiled flicking on the Omega's forehead. "You kiddo, don't worry, see, I'll win this match," he winked. Felix sighed, it had been so long since he heard the kiddo and honestly he didn't think he disliked it. Felix pouted reaching close to his husband and wrapping his arms around the Alpha's bare torso.

"I know," he softly mumbled before looking at Hyunjin's face, "please take care, if your opponent throws one punch then throw two, double it to the next," Felix said with a teasing smile. Hyunjin chuckled, pecking a little on Felix's forehead. "yes, my sweetheart."

Hyunjin gently broke free from Felix's embrace, his warm smile never fading. "I'll be fine, promise," he assured, his thumb brushing softly across Felix's cheek before stepping back towards the center of the room. As Hyunjin finished securing his gloves, Felix watched every move, feeling a mix of pride and fear tugging at his chest.

The crowd outside was growing louder, the energy seeping through the walls of the changing room. Felix could hear the muffled roars and chants, each one a reminder of the fight that was about to begin. His heart raced faster, knowing that soon Hyunjin would be facing an opponent who wouldn't hold back. He swallowed the lump in his throat, trying to stay calm for his husband's sake.

Hyunjin turned to face him one last time, flexing his arms playfully before pulling his mouth guard into place. His eyes softened when they met Felix's, offering silent reassurance. Felix smiled back, though his fingers anxiously tugged at the hem of his shirt.

"Wish me luck, babe," Hyunjin said, his voice muffled slightly by the guard, but still clear enough for Felix to hear the confidence behind it.

Felix bit his lip, stepping forward again. "You don't need luck, you have me," he quipped, though the tremble in his voice betrayed his nerves. Hyunjin smiled, concealing his face as well, he took the Omega's hand in him.

"Let's go," he said, Felix nodded, nervously gulping. As soon as they exit the room, Felix could feel his anxiety growing, he tried to stay calm, reminiscent how many matches Hyunjin had won, how professional he seemed in this but boxing isn't just a game but a battle of unforgiven and no mercy. He took a deep breath, didn't even realise that they were at the back of the arena.

Meeting with Hyunjin's manager Chan. Chan gave them a smile but his gaze reflected a nervousness which he usually held even though he knew Hyunjin was confident in his skills. He gently patted Hyunjin's shoulder, "it's an international tournament, isn't going to be easy, please stay focused and calm," Chan's brows furrowed in caution.

Hyunjin gave him a confidential smile, "Don't worry hyung, I have my lucky charm with me, I'll be fine." Hyunjin glanced at Felix, Felix's hand clutching at his husband's one. Felix looked back, "take care." He said, leaning to peck on his husband's lips. Chan cleared his throat to get their attention.

Their attention pulled by the MC'S announcement at the arena who welcomed a boxer, Felix's fear grew wider feeling scared to even look at the boxer. He gulped turning at the arena where stood a boxer with a masculine body and an undeniable confidence. Felix stared for a moment before bursting into laughter which made Hyunjin and Chan look at him with confusion.

Felix tried hard to control before he looked at Hyunjin, "hubby, isn't he the same bald boxer who got defeated brutally by you," he laughed. Hyunjin blinked his eyes, remembering the match which held months ago..so Felix had been his fan even longer than he expected. Felix's laughter cut by Chan's serious tone, "if he is Hyunjin's past opponent," he looked over at Hyunjin, "you have to be more careful, it's not the matter of combat now but revenge, I don't think he is gonna be easy."
