On the creek shore
sits a snow bank
cradled close to tall pines
These green trees
against a blue sky
shift warm sundazzle
on the frozen ground side
The center creek current
strolls sweetly
dissolving the icy edges
The end of Winter
melts white sheets of frost
atop the ferns and hedges
