Everyone was screaming, and holding onto something so that they won't fall down, as they were busy falling to their deaths anyway.
"Shit! Shit! We're going down! We're going down!" Steve shouts in panic, he grabbed Hailey's arm, pulling her to him, so that he has her by his side.
"Yeah, no shit, Harrington!" Robin shouts, annoyed, holding on for her life, the elevator going down way too fastly.
"Why don't these buttons work?!" Dustin shouts in frustration, trying to press the buttons once more, that's when everyone started yelling over each other, once more.
"Press the button!"
"What do you think I'm doing?!"
"Come on, press something!"
"Just press the button!"
"Push it!"
The elevator room came to a sudden stop, making everyone and everything fall down. Hailey fell on her bum, Steve landed right next to her, but a box ended up falling on him as well.
"Oh! My groin. It fell on my groin." Steve says in pain, Hailey was a bit dizzy from the sudden stop.
"Dustin! Get this off of me! I can't move." Steve says, Dustin quickly got up, picking up the box, Steve stood up, in a lot of pain, helping Hailey to her feet.
"Is everyone okay?" Robin asks, looking around at everyone.
"Yeah, I'm great, now that I know that Russians can't design elevators!" Steve yells out in frustration, he walks towards the panel with the buttons and starts pressing them.
"I think we've clearly established that those buttons don't work." Robin points out.
"They're buttons. They have to do something." Steve states.
"If we had a key card, yes." Hailey says, when the dizziness was starting to disappear.
"A what?" Steve asks confused.
"It's an electronic lock. Same as the loading dock door. If we don't have a key card, it won't operate, meaning..." Robin says, trailing off.
"We're stuck in here." Steve says in realisation.
"Yeah."
"Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's, and Tina always covers for me, but if I'm not home for Uncle Jack's party tomorrow and my mom finds out you four are responsible, she's gonna hunt you down, one by one, and slit your throat. Hailey might be save since my mom likes her." Erica explains to the older people in the elevator, which made Steve snap completely.
"I don't care about Tina! Or Uncle Jack's party! Your mom's not gonna be able to find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator!" Steve yells at her, out of pure frustration.
